To be honest man, i really appreciate your vlog. Imagine if the world will know all of our famous Filipino English songs. And your channel helping that. You got my warm respect and most bless to your channel! - your new subscriber.
They're not a One-Hit-Wonder band lol, they have several hits back in the 90's including their remake of Joey Albert's "Tell Me", So Many Questions, Set You Free, Will I Ever, All This Time, Until Then, Maybe, Let The Pain Remain and their tagalog hits Tuloy Pa Rin, Umagang Kay Ganda and Nais ko. They're one of the best OPM Pop bands in the Philippines. You gotta work on your research but thanks for making this review. If you can do 'Set You Free' next will be very much appreciated. :)
I really took offense on your comment that their Music is Generic and you comparing Cueshe to them. Cueshe ain't got nothing on them dude, they're in the higher tier compared to Cueshe. Come on dude try to make some proper research, you have to listen to some of their hits like Set You Free. Technically they're better than Eraserheads specially in live shows.
There was a time I was resentful that Filipino bands weren't getting enough international breaks. But as I grew older, my opinion changed. I feel sorry that a whole world of people didn't get the chance to hear what Filipino bands had to say, specially in the 90's.
Side A is one of the most formidable OPM band during the 90's and had a string of timeless hit songs under their belt that spans more than a decade.

It's popular in the Philippines because pinoys love ballad songs. For this song, it's better to watch them perform live. Side A is a famous band in the 90's but they are more on the ballad side.
FOREVERMORE is usually sung during wedding reception... makes the guest enjoy their meal... 😊

This song was our wedding song my late husband cried the 1st time he heard it coz he is from the UK .. he always held my hand during the chorus July 27 2013..
Jan 4 2016 he died of massive heart Attack before his body cremated i sang the chorus w/too much love i place my 2 fingers to my lips to his to whisper my love for you will always be forever more .. time does fly and heals thanking God i have gone this far .. broken hearted but always thankful ❤

It means your not a pop-ballad type of person. All you were mentioning that resonates to your ears are all our rock bands. It means you are more of a rocker.

One of the best bands mid-80's and stayed till the 2000. This song "Forevermore" is one of my faves.
“You’ll be safe here” by Rivermaya is one of my favourite OPM songs or “Your Universe” by Rico Blanco. Rico Blanco was also the lead vocalist of Rivermaya who sang “You’ll be safe here” before he left the band.

Side A is actually one of the best bands from the 90s. Forevermore is their most famous songs. It has been used in a lot of weddings since it is like the groom's promise to the bride to love her forever while looking back at what it felt before they got to that point

@@jrrayo4280 what your saying is the is song very popular. A one hit wonder means the band became famous for one song and one song only and never got another hit single. Side-A has many hits. "Forevermore" just happens to be thier most popular song.

Side A Band was very popular in the 90s. They are not a one hit wonder group. They released a couple of albums. I am a big fan of this group. They have sort of a jazzy and ballad sounding songs which became big back then. This is not my most favorite from them but i do listen to Side A still.

Side A is not a "one-hit wonder". They have lots of chart busters. They are contemporaries with Eraserheads, Rivermaya, South Border, After Image and when any of them had a concert, it will surely be jampacked. Fortunately those bands are of different genres.

Did you said, one hit wonder? Of course not. It's just the most famous song, among their many hits. And the reason, I guess, is that it was made into a theme song of a super hit TV series here in the Philippines, I'm not a fan though. I'm a batang Eraserheads as well.
