Lovely little film. Would like to have seen the longest serving stall holder from when it was an old south london street market, and was for a while the only person keeping it going, Geoff on the fish stall!
Unfortunately it was impossible to include everyone but hope those who do feature help to reflect the different aspects, people and businesses associated with the street.
Great film with lovely people. Thanks for opening my eyes to it. Any idea what day of the week the market is on, I’m in London next week so may take a peek.
Had a Saturday job in a bakery on north cross rd in the 70s……to say it’s changed would be an understatement…..90 per cent of the people that live there come from somewhere else….a sad indictment of modern London
A wonderful film we'll share the link on our Northcross Road clients account.
Great film, i will be visiting for sure, David Datt, your food looks amazing. :)
Born in Darrell Road and attended St Johns and St Clements school. A big change from the 1950's.
Amazing to actually be featured in this short video of the road that I live on, thank you.
A very interesting and beautifully made short film about a lovely area of London. Well done.

How wonderful, lovely film. Feeling very sentimental :)
Thank you for watching and pleased you enjoyed it.
Remember when I was a kid and they filmed a Green Cross Code ad with Dave Prowse there. Certainly gone up market since then!
Nice. It looks a bit different to the 80s and first half of the 90s.
Brilliant film showcasing our wonderful unique street! Thanks 🙏
Thank you Becca. It's a great community to be part of.

Thanks Andy. The market is on North Cross Road every Saturday. Lots more to find and explore in the wider local area too.
