This is the best in the entire series PERIOD. 3 was mediocre but it was nice that it's a sequel mixed with a prequel; you get to do missions of each character before they joined the agency & it was mentioned in the first game instruction book

Still loved to go down in a blaze of glory an try escape still I believe eventually you reach thru the armor but had to always body shot them since helmet was be actually bullet proof

Great memories of our childhood. I was around the same age when I played Syphon Filter games. Part of me wishes I never suffered from real video game addiction that I denied but the other part of me wouldn't start a butterfly effect because some things turned out alright.
It took me FOREVER to get past this level...you could only imagine how sad i was when I hoped he survived but nah. It only made it sweeter to kill Chance later on after that. The ONLY GI who survived along with Chance and he dies...thats sad :(

I think so. I mean we do see him wearing that armor in the finale, i'm guessing he was masking his voice or the VA didnt put on Chance's voice draw. I think it was that so we dont make the connect super soon but i mean when we find Ramirez's body and no Chance? that kinda spoiled it

No. Unit 1 is the name of the shock troops that were sent into the lab. The name "Unit 1" implies that it's a first tier response team. The guy they show in the cutscene near the end is just another agency grunt that's part of a separate detachment searching for Gabe's chopper. Chance just happens to be wearing the same armor because plot and reasons.
While playing as a child, I saved at least two ammo, which were then in the inventory on the next level. It is not necessary to kill the last enemies, you can just run them. Maybe more can be saved, but I doubt that it can be done without abuse.
Ahh the good old days when game developers despised and had such a deep hated for their fans so much we got intentionally trolled by bs like this trash mission.

if you get the wrong route, you are basically dead.
however the soundtrack is the best in the entire syphon filter series.

@@XeroWTF37 agency task force in this mission is completely invincible to bullets, the only way to kill them is using explosive flasks and M-79.

It sucks Ramirez died. This game makes me feel close to the GIs. I made sure to make all the bad guys suffer especially chance at the end

If I remember correctly. You can shoot the yellow beakers and the enemy will run into the gas. Saves on M79 ammo.
