  • Hello, my name is Calvin from the Riichi Indonesia community, and I just bought a Treyo H100 automatic mahjong table. I hope this video will help you guys if you're looking to purchase an autotable with this particular brand and model. It's specifically designed for playing Japanese mahjong (or more commonly known as Riichi Mahjong), though it can also accommodate Chinese mahjong simply by tweaking its settings.
    For those familiar with the other automatic tables in the market, this table is practically identical to the Alban Slim Score. The main feature of this table is that it's able to shuffle and arrange tiles automatically with its two sets of 28mm magnetic mahjong tiles. It's also equipped with LCD displays that can read from the included coloured RFID point sticks. Furthermore, the table has 5 lockable caster wheels for easy transport and can be folded to be stored away when not in use.
    Drop me a message if you're interested in getting one.

    Great review, and seeing all the functionality of it is super useful as well. Looks really solid.
    I really want one of these, really the one thing stopping me in most cases is shipping cost. Curious about cost and shipping to Canada on this one.

      If you're based in Canada I would recommend messaging Alban at qa[at] alban.co.jp and ask them for a quote. At least from what I've heard from my friends in North America, Alban's shipping is not that bad price-wise.

    Great video! What language are you speaking by the way? It’s my first time hearing it, sounds very unique and beautiful

    Well made~
    There are two things I have in mind, tho:
    1/ How long did it take to process the video (particularly the English open captions)?
    2/ The fifth honba indicator (and beyond) are coloured differently than the first four. Maybe that has something to do with ryanhan-shibari? (TBF, ryanhan-shibari's not an issue in WRC regulation, so failing to mention it is not as big a deal than when your place regularly uses it.)

      Thank you.
      1. Took me around one day to finish everything.
      2. Not sure. I think the Japanese table setting can only accommodate up to 5 honba, so maybe it's colored differently for the Chinese setting?

    How stable is it given the relatively small base, which could potentially elevate the center of gravity?

    • @CalvinAdiputra
      @CalvinAdiputra  6 месяцев назад

      Hi, it's surprisingly really stable! Pressing it on one side doesn't tilt the table at all 👍🏻

  • @Diandredofus
    @Diandredofus 6 месяцев назад +3

    I assume that storing the tiles inside only works if one set has already been shuffled? Else the table would not be able to separate the two sets.
    Also this is def the kind of purchase any mahjong fan wants to make, but most can't because of 1) space 2) no IRL friends to play with lol

    • @CalvinAdiputra
      @CalvinAdiputra  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, you're correct. You need to wait until the initial tiles have been shuffled in (Treyo logo glows red), then you can pour the second set in safely.
      Fortunately, since you can fold it, it doesn't take too much space 😁 folded it only takes around 30x90cm of space.
      For the second point, you can either join an established local community, or make your own! Spread the word that riichi mahjong is an amazing game 😆

      @@CalvinAdiputra Thought it would work that way, that feature is neat.
      My main hurdle in getting one of these is shipping costs, it would cost about the same as the table itself ( : And no mahjong clubs here unfortunately, but probably something my local Japanese association could make use of if it could convince enough of its members to give Riichi a try.
      Definitely a nice product!

      @CalvinAdiputra  6 месяцев назад +1

      @@Diandredofus yep. I was lucky that I was able to cooperate with someone else so we could share the shipping costs.
      Good luck! I hope you'll be able to find or convert other people to play together with 👍🏻

    Does the table come with a round wind marker? Also do you need an electrical transformer to use in north America?

    • @CalvinAdiputra
      @CalvinAdiputra  Месяц назад

      Yes. It does come with a round wind marker. The original one is orange in color, but I purchased an AMOS round wind marker separately because the latter simply looks better.
      And no, I don't think you need one since the plug comes with a small block of adapter (like the one you see in laptop's chargers). So I believe it could handle the difference in voltage.

    Does the top stay attached well when you fold it with the tiles inside still?

    • @CalvinAdiputra
      @CalvinAdiputra  3 месяца назад +1

      It does. It's sturdily attached to the center leg so it will not fall off when folded. You will hear some loud noises from the tiles falling around inside the table, but otherwise it's perfectly safe.
