You are blowing my mind over and over, wow. Painting is so cool and exciting. The difference between painting and palette scheme 🤯 WOW. Then showing the palette options... so helpful
Thank you so much, Dianne. I have learned so much from your tutorials. Using fewer colors with more variations of saturation will create more harmony than using additional colors with fewer levels of satuation. 😊
Not having had formal training in art (except a commercial art class in high school), this is so valuable for me, since it gives me some structure for planning a painting as far as color scheme. So thank you!! Very useful!
Hi Dianne! Could you tell me what program you are using to demonstrate? It is REALLY cool!!! Thanks so much for helping me with my paintings; they are coming right along. Another twenty years and I'll be really good!! Ed P.
I'm wondering if it's a color reader application. I was able to get close to what she's doing using publisher. I haven't used photoshop in so long and mine is old. I forgot how to make the text boxes. Google playstore had color readers.
This is so helpful; I need to print the options out and try them, as you said with the same scene. Hoping someday this comes automatically as I’m having trouble remembering all the options. Thank you!!!
Just to be sure I understand this correctly, the palette strategy for the schemes will also use the complementary of the chosen colors, or rather, hues to make the various saturations of the chosen hues?
I would be grateful if maybe you would do a video on painting cloud's, and explain the required transparency/opacity to make them believable, especially those in the distance.
Great video. Thanks for including gamut and how it differs.
Have fun with it.

Your palette is your set of ingredients, so success depends upon making logical choices about how you set it up.
