Is the aftermarket tail light lighting a slightly different red? It looks orange towards the end of the video compared the oem trunk tail light red. Please advise
@@ericrogers697 what I figure out was one of my side markers light went bad so it’s cause the side and that side tail light not to come on. Kind of weird the dealership didn’t help much.
Sry I'm not familiar with that yr. That's why I put together this video. I couldn't find ANYTHING on the internet how to change it out. Good luck, maybe you could make a tutorial for your yr for all those out there 😉
@@jamiew3534 I live in the tundra 😂 wouldn't survive out in the exposed air like you fancy fair weather states! Haha yeah. Strange you'd think someone would have done the same by now for the older generations.

I believe it's the lighting from the video. They are tinted with tinting film now so I wouldn't be able to confirm
The contrast or iso count was vary high and whites out the colors, just buy from a local company or one with a easy return policy if ordered online.

i got mine out but the new one won’t go in correctly 😭 is there a hidden tab or something i’m missing mines a 2018 but the lights are the same

So you can't change the bulb you have to get the whole unit?
Nope, these are LED lights. So you can not replace the bulbs. You have to replace the whole light housing. And they are not cheap 😑
Any tips on removing those rivets out so i don't break them by accident
Slowly pull and twist them. Or try a flat head to loosen them

On the middle peice pull up on that one. Look to see if there's pins on that one before you pull though.

No need to reset. Should recognize the replacement.

These are LED lights. The bulbs are not interchangeable.

Maybe you can find something aftermarket with an amber colored light.
ha funny, moisture always gets in my driver side taillight just like that when I wash it. 2015 charger
