    Mr.Mixer! God bless you, I'm soooooo happy I did replace it too and it works very good .... Thank you,,,,,BY THE WAY, I LOST THE SPRING, BUT I did not OPEN THE MACHINE AT ALL, I JUST USED A LONG SCREWDRIVER TO MOVE THE SPRING TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE MACHINE, THEN I USED A NOSE PLIER, TO PULL IT AGAIN, EASY WAY TO GET IT AGAIN WITHOUT OPENING THE MACHINE

    Hello Mr. Mixer! I’ve been grateful for your channel as I’ve rehabbed a K45ss! I just purchased a replacement speed control plate and installed it but upon doing so, now the mixer does not turn on at all! Wondering if you can help… any ideas? Thank you!

    I have a kitchenAid "Ultra-Power" 300w 15-18yrs old that makes noise on "stir" speed. Slight clunking noise goes away on higher speeds and all speeds work well. I have never serviced it but am ready and able to do whatevers needed. Don't know where to begin. Thoughts? How do I view all your videos?

    We have a classic series mixer, the speed variable speed works for the first couple of minutes and then it will only go full blast. I removed the speed control cover and have looked for anything suspect but it all looks correct. Any thoughts?

      Sounds like an issue with the phase board

    I recently inherited a Artisan model kitchen aid from my mom, its probably a few years old already but most likely seldom used. I noticed that 1 thru 6 go the same speed (probably the speed no.4 should be) and and only speeds up at 8 and 10. I tried adjusting the screws on the speed control plate at the back but there is no change in speed, and i only manage to turn it off and on again with no speed variations using the screws. Any thoughts on this?

    Hi, I replaced the bearing in my mixer because it would turn on but not spin. Now it has no power what can I do to help it?

    • @MrMixer316
      @MrMixer316  2 года назад

      Sounds like you may need a worm gear replaced and the no power could be some of the plugs you have unplugged or it is likely the brushes are in wrong if you removed them, they only go in a particular way. We have a video on the brushes

    Hi, how you fix the noise in low speed (stir1), sounds like 2t engine, i move that two nuts side to the control phase board but don't stop the noise, I hear that similar noise in this video at the end before the behind the scene haha

    • @MrMixer316
      @MrMixer316  3 года назад +2

      If the nuts are tight the only two other things that will cause noise like that are the bearing bracket itself needing to be replaced or the governor can also cause some noise. Likely the bearing bracket though

    Hello o have a mixer like this one an artisan .
    I think the sensor needs to be looked at as it races even at low speed.
    Think is I checked all your vids plus all others and no one show how to get to the sensor on these types of models .

    • @MrMixer316

      If it has been tuned and still won't work, and the spring is in place then the phase board is the likely suspect, it's available on our website!

      I tuned it all ways ,two top screws and lower one ,still racing ..
      If I removed the top lid are the circuit boards in there ? or just gears ?.
      Are the curcuit boards only in the tail ?
      Thanks for your quick reply btw

    Ok, bear with me. I replaced a worm follower gear in my ks55. Side note, I wasn’t sure what my nose was and I ordered the wrong g o e from Amazon.... then I got the right one from you. I regressed everything and put it back together just like your videos show..... now it won’t work at all. I plug it in and absolutely nothing responds.
    Ok.
    I looked around at the parts in this video, it looks like mine. The connector makes contact when it is supposed to. I even got my multimeter to measure the voltage. How can I troubleshoot further?
    I assume that the only possibilities are the motor itself is bad, the governor is bad, or that little circuit card needs replaced. Any future videos about electrical troubleshooting for the ks55?
    I am not going to pay to ship my mixer to you because it is far away, but I will definitely buy parts from you and spread the word.

      I would first check the carbonbrushes in the little black circles on each side of the machine, they only go back in on way as they are flanged, shine a light in the hole and line the flange up with the little square cutout. If that isn't the issue, it's likely the phase control board. Motors are very strong, least likely thing to go out!

    Hi I have just sent my kitchenaid artisan to a technician to do a 110v to 240v conversion but it’s not running properly. Can you PLEASE help??? I ordered the conversion kit but it didn’t come with a new speed controller (the thing on the back of the governor that you adjust with 3 screws).
    Here is a video showing the issue. Thank you for any wisdom you can send us!!!

    How come you think it is okay for 3 minutes to talk (babble) about all kind of other things, than the one you said, this video is about? Could you knock off 50% of the comments/speech that is really unnecessary for getting the job done? You disturb so much with all that speedtalk with very little substance.

      How come you think it's ok to come to someone elses page looking for information. Then criticizing how that information is presented. That is incredibly disrespectful. I will make video according to how I want to make them, and if you have an issue, you can seek your information elsewhere. Loon up audacity in the dictionary.

      @@MrMixer316 How else can you get better at making videos? Someone have to teach you :-) AND you completely skipped over the info, that grinding noises can occur from the motor not sitting firmly enough. The two big nuts on the end of the aluminium chassis, are the ones, you should tighten! I found out myself, so I do not need to thank you.
