In rigbys defense...Mordecai bailed on him for something he was never going to do in the first place.

@@Kaika433 his friend flaked on him to not ask her out. Because lets be real, we all know he wasnt going to. So because Mordecai wouldnt hang out with his friend for literally no reason because he wasnt going to ask her out, he showed him how easy it truly is. And lets be real, we see everybody at the park make fun of Rigby, but the first time Rigby has a chance to get back at Mordecai...he dies....not saying he is in the right, but like Rigby gets a bit too much hate and Mordecai is clearly in the wrong. The end of the episode Mordecai even admits this himself and just admits he is jealous.
@@ngcwiz1755 they both were in the wrong but Rigby was more in the wrong, everyone makes fun of him because he is a dumbass loser, he even hated his little brother just because he was jelous of him, like bro Rigby is the worst friend ever, a real homie just would get annoyed at Mordecai and maybe try to help him get with the girl that he likes, Rigby just did the worst possible thing you can do to a friend, steal their Crush, even if i had a friend that had negative rizz i would never do that to them

Nah, Mordecai didn’t ask her to help move because he wanted a chance to ask her, he’s trying to avoid the part of having to actually ask her out and then blames Rigby for ruining a chance he never took.
Meanwhile he constantly expects Rigby to drop everything and while sure you can be there for your boy asking someone out, Rigby asked her out AFTER He hit Rigby and blamed him for his own problems. It’s an L for both of them. Rigby shouldn’t have asked her out but I feel you’re overlooking how Mordecai blames Rigby for his own awkwardness.
Rigby didn’t block. Mordecai had several chances.
Mordecai doesn’t HAVE to go with him, but imagine your friend bailing and turning you down to not ask out a girl you’ve been talking over and over about for literal months. That was Mordecais fault for not being honest with himself and blaming Rigby for it. Both of them were in the wrong here.
At the end of the day rigby should’ve never messed around with Mordecai to begin with, rigby should’ve let him miss out on asking Margaret instead of pushing him over the edge
Also it convenient how all you right defenders forget that rigby pushed Mordecai first but just wasn’t strong enough to knock him off the thing and that’s what pushed him to push him off as well

He was in love, he felt like he had a deeper connection Margaret over just dumb shit cheek meat. Rigby purpousefully tried to steal the love of his life out of nothing but pure spite and mordecai being scared of making a move doesn’t justify that.
Asking someone you love out is INCREDIBLY difficult and kind of terrifying to begin doing so I don’t think you can blame mordecai for stalling for so long.
Rigby was disgusting this episode and only cared about his own selfish desires to spite mordecai, had he really cared about mordecai asking her out it would’ve been way better to just talk with him than to take the shittiest drastic measures possible.
Anyone who claims that mordecai is a “Simp” has never experienced any kind of deeper true love in their life, and is only believed disingenuously because of the Humor applied to it.
He didn’t love Margaret because of her “Cheeks” he loved her because he genuinely liked who she was as a person and infatuation with her meat would only be a slight addition to the real love that was actually there.
“Simp” is mostly just used as a really shitty way to demean people who are genuinely in love and I don’t think anyone who ever uses it actually put any thought into what it means, it’s a thoughtless way to encourage the shallow and it’s really dumb how much it’s used against Mordecai, especially in this episode where the only thing he done wrong was by complete accident.

That scene where Pops gives a lollipop instead of money and the guy is like "is this a joke?" is basically a recreation of the show's creator's art college creation. A lot of this show repurposed the creator's old creations one way or another, but this is word for word the same scene as what led him to creating shows in the first place

I stand with Rigby in episode 2, even as a big Mordecai fan. He constantly blows off Rigby just for a slight chance at Margaret then freezes up anyway. Rigby's payback was harsh but wouldn't have been necessary if Mordecai was a bro about the situation in the first place. Also She's fair game, you can't be mad the Rigby has more Rizz whether he actually likes her or not, he made that shit look easy! And just cuz he's not into her she's still considered a very attractive woman so I'd still say it's impressive he pulled after like 2 jokes

Do we all forget that every episode starts with Mordecai and rigby doing a job then rigby usually trying to find a better way to do it or do something fun instead of doing the job then Mordecai will go “bro let’s just finish the job and get it over with”, and then rigby will go “nah bro it’ll just be a quick break” it’s usually always rigby

People always saying Mordecai killed Rigby over a girl but they never look at why he did that. Ngl if I was mad enough I'd probably push a little to hard in that moment and kill my best friend. Mordecai was mad, he had anger built up, and he never hit Rigby until the end when he pushed him at the wrong time.
