Synopsis:
´내앞´은 전기영화로 1910년 일제에 의한 경술국치가 시작되자 안동에서 문중 별로 일어난 저항 운동을 그린 영화이다. 특히 독립군 양성을 위해 같은 해 12월 24일 중국 서간도로 떠나는 내앞 마을(의성 김 씨 집성촌)의 백하 김대락 일가에 초점을 둔다. 그리고 고향에 남아서 저항한 그의 여동생 김락 애국지사의 시선에서 그녀와 가족의 비극의 삶을 전한다.

김인근 감독은 영국왕립예술학교 시각커뮤니케이션을 수학하고 미디어아티스트, 영화연출, 뮤지션(피터팬컴플렉스)으로 활동 하고있다. 1910년 경북 안동의 내앞을 중심으로 한_김인근 작가의 고향 마을이기도 한_ 독립운동을 그린 단편 ‘내앞’으로 2016년 제 15회 미쟝센 단편영화제에서 최우수작품상을 받았다. 런던한국영화제 초청 및 스웨덴의 Moderna Museet, 영국 BFI, 아랍에미리트의 마라야아트센터 등에서 상영 및 전시를 했다.
Nae-ap portrays a group of the Kim clan community and their fellow independence fighters in other villages in Andong, Korea at the World War II. The film focuses on the time of their departure in Dec 24th 1910 in order to seek asylum to West Gando, China to organise independence army against Japanese rule, and also views from Lak Kim who remained at home and resisted but lived a life of deep tragedy. She was a family member of the leaving group and also a daughter-in-law of another leading independence fighter.
* Nae-ap is the name of a village in Andong, Korea where the Kim clan of Eui-sung established in the late 15th century and has been a clan community since. In Korean, the ’Nae’ is a word for ‘river’ and ‘ap’ means ‘front’. Also the word ’Nae’ has a homonym which means ‘my’.
Ingeun Kim studied visual communication at the Royal College of Arts in England, and has been working as a media artist, film director, and musician (Peterpan Complex). In 1910, he won the best film award at the 15th Mise en Scène Short Film Festival for short story “Nae-ap,” which depicts the independence movement in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province. It was screened and exhibited at Moderna Museet in Sweden, BFI in Britain and Maraya Art Centre in the United Arab Emirates.
