Hey everyone! Here it is - my reaction to Red vs. Blue season 15, episodes 5 - 7!!! Oh dang, I was not expecting the kinds of things that were described happening in the 10-month gap to our crew lol!!! Also, what the heck?!?! How on earth is Church still out there?! And is Grif really quitting?!?!!?! Simmons doesn't seem to be taking that well....! If there's one thing that's for sure it's that I'm pretty sure neither Church or Caboose can die on this show lol. Also, who knew where the whole mysterious "here to serve" character was going?! Did not see that one coming!!! Great eps! Enjoy! ~ MH
during the production of this season, Grif's voice actor- Geoff Ramsey- was going through a divorce. the writers wrote Grif out of the show for a bit to give him some time off. knowing that, Grif's goodbye is both sad, and a little sweet.
That's sad 😢
I never knew that.
thats wild, would've never known. ty for that
I would have loved to have an entire season of the Reds and Blues in retirement
Carolina does sing. You can hear it at the end of the season in the credits.
11:28 Dad Wash and Mom Carolina XD
The part in episode 7 where Sarge hasn’t slept in 5 days is another show they made where if you sleep you die it’s called Day 5
Spencer serving Tucker with that class action lawsuit is probably one of the best jokes in the whole season.
The "Temple of Procreation" bit implies Grif and Simmons... y'know... in a closet. It's the reason why they wanted to change the subject and avoided looking at each other when it was brought up, lol
It literally took me until this video, the first time I've seen RvB after watching Stranger Things, to get that 'other dimension' joke.
And the reds and blues would have had to be *really* dumb to vote 'matriarchy'. Caroline wasn't fooling *anyone,* not even Caboose.
15x05 is the best episode ever... of all time.
Also, I know you may have already recorded it, but there is a callback that plays during the final credits of the season that is *chef's kiss.*
You mean a specific “song” ? 😉
I have to admit that I feel like the show peaked in Freelancer (for action) and Chorus (for story), but having said that, the joke that the guy who was being introduced as a badass unstoppable antagonist out to get Tucker at all costs turning out to be a court-appointed document courier was a great red herring!
Melissa, I hope you’re prepared. There’s gonna be some feels this season.
I feel Grif during his announcing his resignation. It can be exhausting constantly sticking your neck out even for people you like, and across the series it does seem like Simmons was about the only one he ever came close to actually liking. And in spite of his lethargy he still wanted to do something good, which is why he even joined the army in the first place. But after everything, when he was finally going to get a chance to relax, nothing still went right but he at least got to "enjoy" the dull monotony that he was used to with Blood Gulch. And now even that was about to be ripped away, and it was the proverbial straw for a man who was utterly spent. ;n;
I absolutely love the character development given to the Reds this season. They really needed it after the Blues were always the ones involved in the serious parts of the story.
I'm surprised "And then Donut...!" didn't become a meme format.
Wash is actually Jaune Arc sent there when he was younger from a different parallel universe
I love the joke about sleep or death being a bad show idea because Rooster Teeth did a live action show about that
Probably the best episodes of the season. Some good moments after this, but as far as full episodes go, 5 is the last full good one, with perhaps one or two more near the end.
Have you thought about buying Premium or using an ad blocker? Or even downloading the videos?
Episode 5 is my favorite in the series
Grif: AND THEN DONUT-
