Short and long of it is no one knows. There are theories as to a timeline for armored core, but nothing definitive. AC 4 does seem the earliest of any timeline. AC 3 and 1 seem to be alternative timelines from one another, with AC2 following AC1. 5 and V day could either follow gen 3, or be another separate timeline. One youtuber made a good case for the Gen 1 and 2 games following the Orca ending, Gen 5 following the League ending, and Gen 3 following the Destroy ending. As AC6 is set on another planet, if it follows a timeline, it would either follow Gen 2 or 3, with more probability on Gen 2 as humanity is on Mars by Gen 2, compared to the end of Gen 3 where humanity has only started getting back orbital infrastructure. (Gen 5 continues to have AI orbital platforms no-selling any efforts to escape the planet) so... yeah. Your guess is as good as mine.

After S ranking every missing in AC6, I can definitively say it's a step back from this masterpiece. I prefer that you use a normal AC in 6, it makes the experience feel much more grounded again, but in every other regard it's an inferior experience. You have way less parts/tuning options/weapon mount options/ect. The bosses *are* too hard in some cases unless you abuse the few cheese weapons since the game is so horribly unbalanced. It's a way shorter experience even with the NG+ and NG++ specific missions. AC 3 & 4 are the goats of their respective styles.

You see this on Oldking's mission of felling the Cradles. His lines to you may come across as a disillusioned mad man but he truly sees the world as it is.
Even at the beginning of this mission, he sees you as a mere lap dog. Only when he went down, he sees you in a different light. Someone that just doesnt fight because he was told to fight. That you are a pilot that wants to live. To kill. To destroy. You became his saving grace. A torch bearer for him to continue his fight. Which he calls you friend.
you're playing as the blade pulverizer from last raven LOL
sick gameplay though fr
i tried everything possible...and this was the only way i ended up beating them on hard.
yeah, quick boost intensifies
@@diswardexia6105 i changed the QB button to my B button on the Xbox...nearly destroyed that button doing this multiple times lol
2:21 well rats
Wish I still had the game. That final mission was tough. I got the Japanese import because there was a rumour that it might not get made in English. It was the only time I decided to get a game imported.
I stumbled across for answer after finishing AC4 best decision ever
@@DarkZero387 are you playing this on Ps3?
No this was the 360 version
@@DarkZero387 do you think it's worth getting it for Xbox? Because don't you still have to pay for live and stuff?
Xbox live isn't the issue, the issue is that my save file is on the cloud storage so all my hard work is on the 360 version but if I got it for PS3 I would have to start from scratch lol
I remember this mission I used Kohima arm cannons and back unit I did rough ass mission over n over again but I got the S rank over time
I built a specific sniper mech for this mission. Railguns and rifles. Had to do hit and run tactics. Only way I won hahah
heh i cheated this mission I discovered that the strongest plasma cannons go right through the walls so I just lured them behind the walls and blasted them all, got a s rank with little to no damage XD
This mission is such a pain in the ass especially when you're trying to get an s rank on hard. The best I ever got was a rank on hard because even with the wall trick you're likely run out of ammo meaning you have to resort to laser blades. lol
This game is freaking cool
The reason why miyazaki is the best director
Song isn’t fitting the song to me feels like it should be on a destroy these pleb tanks and little things type of mission
I had to cheese this using a wall glitch and sniper rifles. No way I was good enough to take this on legit. Even with dual SALINE missiles.
I need to know how to make a next like this this is amazing, great control skills too
Set your regulations to 1.15 and abuse your qb and blade buttons, that's all this is :)
What are your Tuning stats? D:
And build?
Garuda1_AC6 I spec for boost turning speed and quick boost speed
Does it still count if I used V-Zinc Kojima miss.? But I finished them Off with mooonlight?
In all honesty dude this is one of those fights where a win is still a win. I used all blades because
A: it makes me lighter
and
B: it's what I'm good at
I just kojima everything...
"You think you're some kind of one man army?"
My god in christ, NEXTs are literally that.
A souls rat could never. They'd get bodied faster than old king lmao.
when i did this i went with a next i made called dropper i had the best sniper cannons and rifles the ai were so focused on this one are i just sat back and picked at there health
It is like Kira Yamato was hellbent crazy.
So..which ending is canon for 6 lol
AC6 feels like a prequel for AC2.
@@vergiltheartofpower6616 any lore to look into. I played two but I was wayyyyyyyy to young to remember the story or even handle the missions. 4 was the true entry for me. lots of rumours surrounding 9 ball too with the planet in red.
@@LutherTaylor If going off from FA ending, perhaps the Closed Plan ending. The rest of the options have humanity doomed.
I'm trying to do it right now it's an utter pain
Do a light build with double sniper rifles, double rail cannons, longest range FCS and maximum EN output. Kite them. They don't dodge.
This mission is might be inspired of "Kira Yamato vs Everyone" episode in Gundam SEED
dio arya i think that man .
Kira one man army .
Kira and athrun best pilot of seed and destiny ..
@@AlexPerez-wj7he Of course. I mean, there's no any episode on Gundam series where Newtype fought against more than one or two Newtype
really a wonder why they never remade it just to port to pc im not saying square soft has to throw all their profits but remaking giving facelift couple of upgrades etc on budget, owuldn be a bad thing and for 30 or 40$ price tag would be owrth picking up again.
you are the best
That was years ago, I doubt I still have it but thanks for the compliment lol
What's your build ? I'm curious
Okay, is it just me or does your mech kinda look like 9-Ball?
long lost brother mech I use Id-weltall
Agnai needs to team up with me
More impressive than the wimps who climb Mt Everest.
not a single Second Stage boost... tsk tsk.
This was such a pain
It was at 1st but when I decided to go with a playstyle that worked for me it became tolerable lol
@@DarkZero387 Haha yeah you took the right approach I would always run out of ammo while I had one left, but you do get unlimited sword slashes! Well played I enjoyed the battle.
Thanks it took me a while to get the hang of going full blade mode considering that I was a machine gun and blade type plus I had to build and spec that suit specifically for that mission
I think its a realy good base for the next installment in the series. The controls and feel/fluidity are spot on imo
But still is step forward for from software it's been a decade working on soulsborne formula and try something new
This is like fight simulator on crack
wow.. now this is some newtype shit right here.
What's funny is that was done years ago, when I replayed it a few weeks ago I cut my old time in half
sure but you know you cant play all the missions on co op just like 60% i think
I wish they would release a new Armored Core. Not that new verdict day type shit. An actual armored core like the first 4.
Well you may be in luck.
yeah i know I've just been so busy getting a comedy game series up and running with my group
!SHURA!
The booster is pretty fast. 😵💫

I don’t know what you said but hello fellow fan
I could never beat this fight, i can't tell how many times i've tried, i tried ever build i could think of.
I hear Gohan lol
I got rank S on hard. Strategy: full backdash 4 legs sniper build.
Too bad they don't make em like this anymore..
Hey you did say take out anyone and anything, so I did lol
Armored core for answer should be renamed to armored core mobile suit gundam edition
Are using a code to keep your energy up?
Yea I think it was reg 1.15
and soon AC6 will be apon us
I hope it plays similar to for answer
AC6 soft compared to this
You're using White Glint's Core. That's cheating.
You are scary anyways you got any advice for this mission?
If you're using my method, spec your fcs memory for quick boost and horizontal boost, also use mid weight parts and your strongest blades
Seriously,you have fast fingers
Thanks it took me a while to get used to it though
