Это про отношения которые закончились, а как говорят разбитую чашку не склеить, вот и продолжать эти отношения на разбитом стекле нет смысла.
"Танцы на стёклах" - это не в прямом смысле. Нет больше любви , построить отношения не получилось.Все попытки и надежда на счастье " разбились" как стекло и остались только осколки. Примерно так.

Meaning of the song ‘Dancing on the Glass’
On the strategy of the musical work immediately goes the deciphering of what this track is about. ‘Home, it's quiet, quiet in it. Very lonely and empty. There are no positive thoughts. There comes an opposing phrase: ‘I'll open the door - I'm not waiting for anyone’. You don't want to open the door, because the character, as it is demonstrated, doesn't need anyone. This video track is about a difficult and painful breakup. It's about a strong love between two people. But it's all broken up.
