First video I found was of your SC2 and SC3 and you said you don't own SC5 so nice to see you got one hehehe! Great review, been debating buying one of these for a while now.
That was one of my first videos on youtube, i hope ive got better If you can afford it then i would say buy a SC5 but if your budget is tight then the SC3 is still a good option Thank you for the comment
@@ladyz9933 Yes! It's specifically what something like a steam cleaner is meant for. I recommend you have a stack of microfibre cloths on hand (or kitchen roll if you're a disposable type) to wipe up the grease as you go, though. You may also need to do a second ass if you can feel residual grease after your first run.
I think a steam cleaner review should include some examples how they actually clean. All the info you said is readily aivalbe when coparing the products on the manufacturers website as well. That short clip of cleaning the tap didn't show much.
bought the new signature line sc5 a week ago. Me and wife testing it all over the house and tbh it doesn't clean anything that you can't clean with a scrub daddy without any detergents... Only place it kind of shines is the oven but it doesn't justify the €400 price tag... Returning it and well probably try a used EV3000 which go for about €600 and should be far superior in performance, power, and capabilities
You can’t go wrong with Karcher. Enjoyed your videos but wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy. As it happens an SC 2 500 fell into my lap FOC. It needed cleaning up and I’ve ordered some cloths for the tools but wow for a 7 yr old cleaner it’s probably the best ever second hand model. It takes 5 minutes to heat up and I have to pause occasionally to allow it to heat up again but the tank is removable and fillable whilst working and the steam is immense whatever bar it is😅. Keep on karcher
@RichManPoorTech hi I've been looking to buy a steam cleaner. Do you think the cheaper generic models are just as good as the karcher? I can't decide on whether to spend the money on a sc3 karcher or a cheaper make called maxkon. I've read mixed reviews about karcher. Are they worth the money? Thanks
Im not sure exactly how from the sc3 steam pressure/flowrate compares to the sc5 steam pressure/flowrate, i have a specific task in mind to clean greasy fridge coils in restaurants, these things not requiring as much water and generate less flying debris from a air compressor im hoping are hot enough and capable of penetrating the 60mm thick coils. Id love to know if anyone in the trades got success here.
We used to used one when I worked at TRS doing M&S. All I can remember is it was a similar orientation to this but blue, and it was awesome. Slow, but did the job really well when cleaning condensers/evaps/oily comps etc 👍
A friend of mine bought the same SC5 model, and they used to clean Air conditioner filters. But they said when they used the machine for more than 1 minute, they needed to wait for a while becouse the machine neded to reload the boiler. It is like that?
Under normal cleaning this machine works fine, however under constant use as you describe there may be a slight drop in steam pressure which if you were cleaning something like a bath or a floor for example you would not notice, if your using the water droplets again you can continue to use. However as with all steam cleaners that I have used, the initial pull of the trigger after rest has more steam flow, this might be what they are referring to
Apart from the iron accessory and the water drop function they can all use the same accessories, so they can both clean the same, the sc5 being more powerful can clean quicker and easier but if you willing to spend more time then the sc3 Will eventually do the same end job like a bucket or a jug they can both fill up a paddling pool, but one you finish earlier
Your review on these machines are the most detailed I've yet seen, was wondering if you had seen/tried the Polti VAPORETTO italian models ? If you had any thoughts on them I'd be very interested.

I don’t have any access to those others so can’t comment on those, the sc3 is a good machine and I was happy with mine, I bought the sc5 just to do a video on it which I liked and it dose have more power, but the sc3 will do most of the same tasks, some might just take a little longer with the sc3, I can highly recommend the sc3
