Depends on your personal situation and tax bracket. The ATO has some good information on it but basically if your tax rate is less than the corporate tax rate of 30% currently you could get a refund.
@@SageFinance I do have some invested in VAS. 80% of my super balance is in ETF’s with 8% being VAS. The rest is international, mostly the U.S. Outside of Super, I have a few single Aussie stocks but not a massive amount of money at the moment. The rest is international. I’m still learning so by no means an expert.
@@iDrive123 Yeah most of my super is international which has previously been good for growth. I think Aussie franked dividends are good for retirement though.
Do you own this ETF and why?
Yeah VAS and VGS for me
Great choice 👍
Do franking credits give us a tax refund?

Good option
Yeah it’s a solid Aussie ETF
Problem is that its very mining and banking heavy.
Yeah that pretty much sums up the Aussie market in general. Do you still own any Aussie shares for dividends?

@@SageFinance Good luck and good luck with your channel. We need more Aussie finance content on here 👍
@@iDrive123 Thanks! I’ve got some older videos going through my portfolio and how I set my finances up if it helps 👍
I think this is the biggest ETF in Australia
Sure is!
Good dividends
Good for passive income 👍
