Steps To Christ is just what it is. For me it has become my practical guide to knowing my Savior Jesus Christ and His sustaining grace. My daily life has now become more a life of peace as I live through and by Him.
Thank you so much...I live in South Korea and I had hard time finding her books. I am a reborn christian, and as I took walking with the Lord more carefully, i was drawn to the SDA. Walter Veith and finally Ellen G White. I have been a bad sinner with every vice known to man, but i found forgiveness and love through Jesus Christ and the Most High. This filled me up with the spirit when I was toiling with the terrible enormity of sin. GOD bless!
This quarantine actually worked out perfectly for me to listen to sermons upon sermons and having alone time with God without the temptations of the world. I am ever grateful for the mercy he has shown me to hate what God hates and love what God loves. Still long way to go but I feel stronger with Christ. I believe prophesies are being fulfilled and am planning to fight for the Lord in my own ways. I can see heavy persecution for SDA members and true christians everywhere....

Thank you so much. I sure appreciate the way you read this book with such meaning. You don't read as though you were in a hurry but you give lots of expression. The first chapter of this book especially is so amazing because it brings out the fact that God is the father of Christ. Jesus Christ is the son of God from eternity past. God is not a trinity. The one true God, as it says in John 17 3, is the father and Christ is his Divine son. Imagine that the father loves us so much that he gave his son in order to save us. You know he could have simply destroyed all that had been created and there would have been no one to question what he was doing. There would have been no one to know the difference except the Son. Why didn't you do that? Because God is love! God really does love us! He could no more destroy us without giving us an opportunity to be saved than we could destroy our own child because they do something stupid.
Our finite minds cannot comprehend the enormity of God, His workings and His love. But He has given us object lessons on earth to testify of His glory. I see the Holy Spirit like the wind of the earth. What is the purpose of the wind? To carry seed and pollen that life may flourish. To push the sail in it's desired direction upon the stormy sea. To bring relieve and refreshing to the heat of toil and labour. In a spiritual sense this is the workings of God on our hearts! Let our minds rest on this and not try to overcomplicate the details, it is far beyond our understanding. But thank God for this Book! For it is simplifies God's infinite truths that we may walk in the light as He is in the light! Walk on my friends!

How was the SDA Church Changed to Think the Holy Spirit is a Person ? It is claimed that Ellen White became a Trinitarian 20 years before her passing. This erroneous claim is based on a handful of quotes that LeRoy Froom set out to search for that he rightly figured would be misunderstood. He searched over 100,000 pages of her writings (25,000,000 words) and found a few quotes that on the surface appeared to fit the Trinitarian concept on the Holy Spirit. But only if you choose to read them as such, and at the expense of the “tens of thousands” of non-Trinitarian statements she wrote. Note that Froom was labelled as being the most dangerous man in the SDA Church and is now suspected of being a Jesuit. On the 14 December 1955, Leroy Froom in a letter to Reuben Figuhr wrote, “I was publicly denounced in the chapel at the Washington Missionary College by Dr. B. G. Wilkinson as the most dangerous man in this denomination.” The claim that Ellen White was given light which resulted in her becoming a Trinitarian means God would have been lying to her for many decades. This claim is obviously false ! New light CANNOT contradict old light or the old light was a LIE from God. A change from non-Trinitarian to Trinitarian is a total back-flip and can NEVER be called progressive truth. Sadly, Froom eventually managed to convince the SDA Church with these misunderstood quotes that Ellen White had become a Trinitarian. But he had to wait until the death of Ellen White and all the pioneers as he could never have achieved this change while they were still alive. I quite assure you that it can no longer be mistaken as a Trinitarian quote ! For example: “We need to realize that the holy spirit [CHRIST BY HIS SPIRIT], who is as much a person as God is a person, is WALKING through these grounds, UNSEEN by human eyes.” (EGW, 2SAT 136.6, [Evangelism p. 616.5], 1899) And for further clarity on this quote, “How few realize that JESUS, UNSEEN, is WALKING by their side !” - (EGW, 14MR 125.3) And, “He [CHRIST] is an UNSEEN presence in the PERSON of the HOLY SPIRIT,” (EGW, DG 185.2, 1897) Who is UNSEEN ? Christ ! And why is Christ UNSEEN ? Because it is by HIS HOLY SPIRIT. The early pioneers had no problem with the few quotes that Froom searched for because they knew who the Holy Spirit is and would never read them the wrong way. But if your belief is that the Holy Spirit is another being, then that is what you will see when you read them. Picking out statements from Ellen White's writings that would fit into a Trinitarian concept of God while ignoring her statements that do not fit the Trinitarian concept of God is a dishonest way to use her writings. To understand correctly what God has revealed through Ellen White, and find out what her beliefs were on this topic, it is necessary to quote all that she wrote on this subject, not just be selective in what we quote to suit our own agenda. I agree. Where ever the throne of God is mentioned in the Bible, two are seated: the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit does not sit as a third person on God's throne! Also we are never asked to worship or ask the Holy Spirit anything. We're instructed to ask God the Father for the Holy Spirit and to obey Him.
While, sadly, this is the best narration currently available on youtube, it seems to me the subject matter would deserve a narration with a bit more Sprit and engagement. I am definitely not a fan.

And since Ellen White wrote that the Holy Spirit is the SPIRIT OF CHRIST, for any quote Froom used regarding the Holy Spirit that has been misunderstood, replace the words “HOLY SPIRIT” with “SPIRIT OF CHRIST” or “CHRIST BY HIS SPIRIT” and read it again.
I quite assure you that it can no longer be mistaken as a Trinitarian quote !
For example: “We need to realize that the holy spirit [CHRIST BY HIS SPIRIT], who is as much a person as God is a person, is WALKING through these grounds, UNSEEN by human eyes.”
(EGW, 2SAT 136.6, [Evangelism p. 616.5], 1899)
And for further clarity on this quote, “How few realize that JESUS, UNSEEN, is WALKING by their side !” -
(EGW, 14MR 125.3)
And, “He [CHRIST] is an UNSEEN presence in the PERSON of the HOLY SPIRIT,”
(EGW, DG 185.2, 1897)
Who is UNSEEN ?
Christ !
And why is Christ UNSEEN ?
Because it is by HIS HOLY SPIRIT.
The early pioneers had no problem with the few quotes that Froom searched for because they knew who the Holy Spirit is and would never read them the wrong way.
But if your belief is that the Holy Spirit is another being, then that is what you will see when you read them.
Picking out statements from Ellen White's writings that would fit into a Trinitarian concept of God while ignoring her statements that do not fit the Trinitarian concept of God is a dishonest way to use her writings.
To understand correctly what God has revealed through Ellen White, and find out what her beliefs were on this topic, it is necessary to quote all that she wrote on this subject, not just be selective in what we quote to suit our own agenda.
That would be tantamount to deception.

I agree. Where ever the throne of God is mentioned in the Bible, two are seated: the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit does not sit as a third person on God's throne! Also we are never asked to worship or ask the Holy Spirit anything. We're instructed to ask God the Father for the Holy Spirit and to obey Him.
