Hey guys! Welcome back to another complete (EXTREME DISASTER) video. We had some people staying with us and with two toddlers, let’s just say there was a LOT! to clean. In this video I tackled the living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast nook, bathroom, kids room, foyer, and back room (our multipurpose room). Aside from all that I also cleaned the DIRTY oven (wait until you see the transformation) and shared the cleaning products I used.

Gosh girl, I think the people you had over should have helped clean up the mess with you. Anyone who came to visit me and made that mess would NEVER be allowed to set foot back in my home again. That is beyond disrespectful to leave someone’s home like that.

Catherine P yes I always help pick up, and my kids pick up if they were playing. My mom installed that in her kids. Always pick up after yourself.
Renee totally get what you’re saying unfortunately everyone doesn’t have the same mentality or moral compass 🤷🏾♀️. I totally would have cleaned after up myself and my family so I totally agree with you on that part 😊.
I was thinking the exact same thing... I’d be ashamed as a guest watching this video, knowing I helped create this mess or my kids helped create this mess but didn’t help clean it out 😅

How nice of you to put up another couple with two toddlers. I think you went into superwoman mode cleaning up the house. I am with the others here who said I would never leave my hostess to clean up after any messes I or my other family members left around their home. I was taught never to burden someone in their own home. When you help out and do your part as a guest you are most likely to be invited back again. Visited relatives not long ago for two weeks, (they lived 8oo miles away). I not only cooked meals, cleaned up and made sure to do my own laundry. When I left there was nothing for them to do except enjoy the new family photos. Make good memories not messes. Great job of cleaning.

Good heaven No way would I have allowed anyone to treat my home like that. When you are having people over with kids fill a basket with toys and that is what they play with nothing else and close off the bedroom they are no go areas in my house for guests and their kids.
That's great advice. It was a rare moment for us and we were enjoying our company because it's not often we get them. At that moment cleaning was the last thing I was thinking about. However, when they left that's when I realized how bad the place got. Thank you so much for watching ❤️

My house gets like this alllll the time. So glad to find this video, usually moms post like "Cleaning extremely messy home!!" But its actually "Cleaning my already clean home" lol

Same here! Well my kids are 25, 20, 14 now BUT when they were little my house was always messy but now that they are older and one is married already and lives in another state you start to miss it. Sounds crazy but its true. I miss the mess, the children running and yelling hehehe! But I do cherrish the moment when they come and visit with my grand babies....

I see what you mean, I suffer from a chronic illness that exhausts me very quickly, and keeping my (big) house clean is a permanent challenge!
On the other hand, my eldest son (6 years old) has been tidying up much better and on his own since I showed him this video! Until now, he thought the house just stayed clean (and not that mom cleaned it).
I was taught to clean as you go right away and it's never to early to teach the littles to help out too. Seems like it always takes so much more time to tackle these large messes. Great 👍 job on the clean up.
You're right, and it is easier. Sometimes with 2 toddlers, it's not always easy. We are currently teaching the oldest toddler to put away his toys after play time. Thank you so much for watching ❤️

I have 2 boys, 13 years old and a 6 year old. I noticed that my youngest actually just paid attention and wanted to be like his older brother and would tag along and help. It gets easier with the second for sure ♥️

What irritated me the most was everyone walking around and sitting and not helping even if she said not to still the fact that you considered asking to help would’ve even been something but like many are saying we don’t know what was said or done prior to recording sooo🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ however maybe she enjoyed the moment to herself and the helped her find a piece of mind after her company cause the way the house looked, seems to me they had a ball in and out the house none the less it came out beautiful, you have a gorgeous home. Awe, you're so sweet. You are right we did have a great time. I truly don't mind cleaning at all, no matter how messy or not messy the home is. It's calming to me, specially seeing the after shot. It's good to keep all books. Over the years things change especially history. And it's good to have old references. Just designate a room to be a library

Thank you so much for the compliment. It was indeed a lot of work, 2 days worth. The mess did accumulate over the days my guest stayed. It was not until they left I saw how bad the place got. In the middle of it, I didn't give it's second thought. We just enjoyed spending quality time with them. It's not often we get guest. So we just enjoyed the company. Thank you so much watching ❤️

As I understand it, people who come to a home, and make a mess like this are truthfully jealous of what you have, and intentionally leave the work for you to do just because. They are capable of other things because they do not possess any 'visitor etiquette'. If they left your home like that, imagine what their own homes look like. Don't invite them back. You did a supreme job cleaning up. Very admirable. 💖

NEW SUBBIE‼️.. I respect the plastic on the chairs.. and to keep it from hanging... trim and tape loose ends so its fitted to the chairs.. I’m glad you have it on to keep stains from getting on it 🙏🏽

Wow, that is a crazy amount of toys! Seems like that was the main mess. Teaching the kids to put their toys in a basket helps.
Yes, they slowly built up as we were given most of them as gifts. I plan to do some decluttering soon and remove some so stay tuned. They play with almost everything right now, and I would rather them do that than to be glued in front of a TV, lol. I guess we all make our choices. We are working with them to clean up, but they do not fully understand yet.
wow, it seems like a big chunk of that mess was toys and books, try paring those down to at least 50% preferably even less, and put the remainder on a 2 month rotation in bins to be stored in the garage or basement, your life will be so much easier and the baby won't be overwhelmed by too many things.
Yeah I think I will need to do a declutter soon. I always said I didn't want to have too many toys for the little ones, but we just kept getting more and more as gifts and it is now what you see. they definitely get put to good use though.
Thats what I end up doing as well and around the holidays I do even smaller amount of toys 🙈 but they have so many its okay . we also donate often .

My goodness girl, you are doing one heck of a job, you,re home must mean a lot to you. But you must be exhausted by now. I wish I could still clean like that, but Rheumatoid arthritis and Fibromyalgia has taken a huge toll on me. God bless you.!!!

Takes a while for a house to get like this but sometimes things just keep stacking up and us momma's just don't have the energy to do the little things and before we know it the house feels trashed.

I had to laugh when I saw you are a fan of the industrial sized Dawn dishsoap, LOL! I use the blue Dawn, and love it.
I just got a steam cleaner for Christmas, but have not used it yet - can't wait to see how clean my house gets with that! I have health and pain issues, and am hoping it will make housework easier.

Put Foil all over the bottom of your oven under the Coil so when food drips.. it drops on the foil and not the bottom of the oven.. makes for easy cleanup..
That's a good idea Casha, I have one of those oven pan liners down now, but it doesn't quite reach to the edges. Thanks for the comment an support hun.
That's a fire hazard.
Be careful about using foil. Check your owners manual just to be sure you can use foil otherwise foil might mess your oven up. Newer ovens usually have imprinted on oven door not to use foil.
I find it very comforting to know other people get water all over the counter when doing dishes. Thank you

Girl, my back was killing me just watching you stand there in such a cramped, tight space washing all of those dishes. I would have raised the roof off that joint if my family would have ever expected me to clean that disaster all by myself.

Hello BabyJam25, I used easy off fume free oven cleaner from walmart. It comes in a blue container. Don't forget to thoroughly spray it and let it sit at least two hours, overnight would be even better for deep cleaning. I really hope your oven doesn’t have a self cleaning feature. If it does it’s not recommended to use oven cleaner. Self cleaning ovens have special coatings on the inside. It it isn’t self cleaning, please disregard. Great job cleaning up.
Our oven is probably about 15 years old. I am guessing it doesn't have a self cleaning feature, honestly I am not 100% sure. I totally agree, oven cleaner would not be good to use if it does have the feature. I will look up the model online to see if it does because now I'm curious. Thank you so much Max for watching. When you were cleaning the oven- did you know you can pick the door up once its open and take it off? It might make getting to the back of the oven easier. The hinges are on springs so be careful when you take it out that you dont have your fingers there. The door weighs about 10 pounds.

40:33 why you don't take out the oven door ? More simple to clean and you just need to pull up the door with your hands, put back the door is also simple , each side of the oven there's pins, and the door have each side hole to put back the door in. Takes sec, to take out or put back the door. No needs something special just you 2 arm's. 😊

Im so glad my mother always kept a clean and neat house. She tought us at a very young age to clean up behind our selves. My mother always cleaned as she cooked as well therefore she wouldn't have mess every where. She could never understand why people would make excuses of having a dirty and nasty house🤔. She worked, went to school and still managed to keep our home nice and clean . I'm glad she took the time out to show us how to keep things clean and how to be responsible . I'm just like my mother when it comes down to keeping up my home. 😊 I have kids as well and our house is still nice and clean.

First of all kudos for actually having something to clean because a lot of the "extreme clean" videos seem like they're already clean lol. I noticed that you started with the smaller mess areas first then tackled the bigger ones like dishes and oven, is there a reason you did that? Just wondering so I can decide which area of my house to clean first.
My toddlers alone give me plenty to clean. Majority of the time I tackle the smaller mess first, no reason its a habit I notice I do often. To me it makes the place looks a little cleaner, although it's not all the way clean yet. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch.
I start with the least used areas of my hone first then the most used. I clean my room first because it wont be used again until night time and my house is not put together until my bed is made. Then I clean my office. Then the main living area which for me includes the dining area. Then the kitchen partly because its going to get used a lot durning the day but mostly because I hate it. Then I finish with the bathrooms.
Don't they understand that it's very, very satisfying to watch something that is actually messy getting real cleaned up

Wow, the more you clean the more you find something else to clean. I started cleaning yesterday and had to stop after 7 hours of cleaning, I think it going to take me another month or so to remove everything from my home and get it to ship shape. A skip is essential at this point for me.
