    Bought my first Honda Accord Euro Luxury Navi 2012 last month and had done only 60.000kms! Just love this car and think how amazing it is compared to trashy overpriced other cars on the market! Still better than most newly cars from 2021! I’m obsessed with the brand HONDA and with the car I just got! Can’t express how proud I am for the decision I’ve made of buying this beast!
    Loved the review about the car even after 7years! As there’re not many videos about this 8th generation accord euro on the RUclips, whatsoever! Enjoyed and appreciated for providing all the info about the car and we need more videos like this on RUclips! Cheers 🥂 🇦🇺

      I am in the market for a new car. I am split between accord euro 2014 vs camry 2014. What you reckon if i prioritize fuel economy and maintenance?

    • @rafff09
      @rafff09 3 года назад

      @@TheGhx hey mate, they both are JDM, I’ve never owned a camry but driven many times, there’re many peoples I’ve seen owning a camry and if you’re looking for reliability, lower fuel consumption and easy and cheap maintenance and don’t care about looks then surely you can go for a camry but if you compare with an accord euro as it cost pretty similar to maintain and fuel consumption might be slightly more than camry or might be less as I’m not so sure about Camry’s mileage, my accord euro is 2012 year model but was manufactured in 2013 and when I bought the car I was getting 12.5Ltr/100kms but after buying I’ve been using 98 only and now I’m getting 10.7ltr/100kms, overall if you want something unique and want to try something new and a bit sporty and not an ordinary car like camry then you can surely go for Honda Accord Euro, furthermore if you are buying the car mainly for ride sharing then camry is definitely recommended otherwise Honda Accord Euro in my Opinion .
      Note: I don’t know much about these cars so please do your own research before coming to a final decision :) best of luck 🤞 let us know what ya end up getting ✌️

    Buddy you are so right about the honda . I am from Europe, but living in US. When i came here i dont wanna hear any European brands , so i bought a Pontiac (american junk) then accidentally i bought a civic and since then nothing but Honda is in my heart. Compare to the Mercedes , BMW , and VW crap , i call them scam car, Honda /Acura is a lightning years ahead of the game . I had a Acura tsx(accord) input 260 000miles and that thing felt like it was build yesterday-the best car I've owned.

    I own a 2012 Acura TSX (US market) with the 2.4 i-vtec K24Z3 engine. Owned since new, currently has 112k miles and not a single problem. Just oil changes, transmission fluid drain and fills, 1 set of brake pads, air filters, and 1 set of new tires. Never have had a check engine light or any dash light for that matter. These cars are bulletproof. Mine brand new was $30,950 including destination and has everything except navigation. Leather, moonroof, HID headlights, fog lights, 17” wheels, dual zone climate, etc etc so many features I can’t list them all. These cars are a steal for $30,000.

    Here in the USA, I have owned a 2012 Acura TSX Sport Wagon for 4 years with the 2.4 inline four motor. This was the Accord Tourer in Europe. I love the quality and driving enjoyment of this wagon. Having owned Hondas since my first Prelude in 1983, I can say that this wagon is overall the best Honda I have owned....smooth as butter, and it's a compact wagon that holds as much cargo as some CUVs. Thanks for your review!

    Right on Archie. I have owned a 2012 Honda Accord Euro Luxury Navigation since new and in my opinion it's one of the best cars ever produced. Drives like a proper sports sedan with that K24 i-vtec motor, sophisticated suspension systems front and back and unique automatic transmission with manual transmission internals. This car makes me feel special every time I drive it. It looks great and reliability has been flawless. Feels as solid and rattle free as the day I bought it.
    Made in Japan. Technology is class leading. What a bargain! I will never sell this car!

    I like your Aussie accent. And your car as well. Here in Europe I also drive Honda Accord, 2.0 litre petrol engine, 156 HP. Mine is Silver too (silver buran to be accurate). Very stable on the road, very reliable, put new 5w30 synthetic oil and it makes 4.9l/100 km fuel efficiency when I set the cruise control at 90 km/h. You've been a little harsh on the German cars. In general German cars are also good, but you spend way too much on maintenance for them. Accord beats them all - price, reliability, comfort, design, fuel efficiency, etc.

    Jeeeeez cars are expensive in Australia!!!! $43000 is like £23500 here in the UK, which would get you a brand new 3 series... or a 3 year old 7 series with next to no mileage on it!!! If you wanted something that wasn't so expensive to maintain then again for just £21k you could get a less than one year old Lexus IS250, or for £24k a year old Lexus IS 250C 2.5 SE-L!!!!! :/

    I have a Canadian version 2011 Acura TSX 2.4 litre 6Spd manual; quite peppy for a 4 cylinder without turbo. Here in Canada it's considered an entry sports sedan rather than a luxury sedan.
    I received a recall from Acura on the engine regarding possible low oil levels causing insufficient lubrication leading to cylinder wall damage. It applies to 09-11 cars with the 2.4 litre engine. Dealers will replace pistons and piston rings as well as the engine block if needed. Engine warranty extended to 8 years or 125,000 miles, 200,000 km should the issue arise.
    Anyone take theirs in to replace pistons or engine block due to recurring low oil warning?

    • @gtaospotlight4327
      @gtaospotlight4327 4 года назад

      Mine had the oil burning issue but it was a 2012 model which doesn't apply to the recall... the low oil caused the VTC actuator to grind on start up an some timing chain noise when engine was cold. got it fix at independent honda specialist instead of dealership. since then swapping oil brand to pennzoil and no more oil burning issue.

Would love honda to stretch it a little probably made for tiny people.

    Honda killed the Accord Euro (also known as Spirior and Inspire in China) between 2015 -2018. The only remnant of the Euro/Spirior/Inspire is the Acura TLX which sells in 5 countries. Honda brought the Inspire back from the dead in China only to kill it again by making it a rebadged standard Accord. I drive a 2012 8th-gen Accord Euro and love it! I would have continued buying Euro's or the Acura TLX but Honda would rather market Civics. I'm switching to the V6 Toyota Camry next.

    Honda is good quality but not truly a luxury product. The only truly luxury product from Japan is a Lexus.

    • @SuPeRsOnIcRO4
      @SuPeRsOnIcRO4 10 лет назад +1

      Not the only one. As Lexus is Toyota's luxury brand...there is also Infinity by Nissan and Acura by Honda....all these are equally luxury...not to mention Japanese supercars like Nissan GT-R...

    • @brendenn12
      @brendenn12 10 лет назад

      ***** In terms of being viewed as a luxury product, other japanese brands such as Infinity and Acura don't have the same prestige as Lexus (who is up there with their German rivals). The craftsmanship is much better in a Lexus and not the mention they are the most reliable cars you can buy. The Nissan GTR is a cheap supercar (again when viewed as a luxury product) and the Lexus LFA is a handcrafted almost million dollar ($750k+ in Australia like a top of the line Ferrari/Lamborghini whereas the Nissan is below $200k) super car.

    • @ossimjew
      @ossimjew 10 лет назад +1

      Acura is wayyyyy better than any lexus here in America who gives a fuck about prestige. The only people that buy lexus in America are old people all the old Cadillac and Lincoln buyers now by the Lexus.
      At the same time the new Acura NSX will probably be a better car than the LFA. Toyota has not made a good car in 13 years.

    • @brendenn12

      Well yeah you don't see me wearing a patek, that's an old man watch. But still lexus/toyota has been shit since 2000, my dad bought a brand new 2013 ES350 and sold it within a month because he thought it was such a piece of shit. The cost cutting in modern lexus is unbelievable they are so cheaply mad now it's sad, their profit margins per vehicle is almost as high as mercedes.

    I'd expect I pay close to 40k for the Acura version of this car. This is a fantastic meat and potato car served on fine china , best bang for buck 1honda 2subaru 3 Hyundai 4 Toyota 5 LEXUS 6 infinity. I like to buy cars that are a year old and keep them for 4 to five years. German cars aren't what they used to be unless you go high end and American cars are ok if you go mid range. $43,000 for a Honda Accord?? Nice car, but way too much money. Buy a 4 or 5 year old one for 20k or less. Not as fun to drive as a BMW or Mercedes, but way less expensive in price and maintenance/repairs. Then again if you can buy luxury watches for 15k to 30k, the car seems reasonable.

    I have no idea why you calling a Honda a luxury car???
    Sure it is a good car,i might say a great car,but by all means it is not a luxury one,even Acura (not AcUra) is not a true luxury car even it cost a lot of money,so you contradict yourself just like comparing Mercedes S class and Honda the same like comparing Rolex and Seiko or Reverso and Stuhrling Original Skyline quartz.(but they look almost the same.

    • @hollywoodsmile9483
      @hollywoodsmile9483 9 лет назад

      IIGrayfoxII True, the definition of a luxury car can apply to about 80% of the cars made in the last few years even if it costs 25-30k dollars ,but i am talking about really luxury cars just like Paul Pluta refers to the high end watches that not everybody can afford and the same with the cars if anybody can go and buy it and every other man or woman driver drives it then the meaning of luxury is totally different then if someone goes and buys the car that costs 70-150k dollars or more and it turns heads like gold Rolex right in your face and people know this is luxury watch,or Louis Vuitton purse that also known as expansive luxury item,also the houses,the yachts,planes and shoes.....most of them are good or you can say luxury,but the real luxury is the one that only few people can afford.........so this is my 2 cents opinion..take it or leave it.....but Honda/Acura is a very good build vehicle and here in USA Honda is not called a luxury car even it can outperform some luxury cars in built quality and lasts longer.
