- I decided to renovate the soft top myself even though I was not sure of the outcome.
The soft top kit that I bought turned out to be first class.
There is some interesting design content in the soft top structure that I just love.
I am very happy with the end result.
Music today is the theme tune from 'The Crown' - a perfect tune for a gorgeous car!

my suggestion is to go for it - take your time - take lots of photos of the old system.

Hi John, congrats on the hood install. I have done plenty of them when it's really outside my area of comfort. Usually I fit the frame and try my best to get a header seal and side-window seal, then fit the hood material.

I am at the end of a very long rebuild. My car has the top on with new wood but we are having difficulty. The roof is over to one side by 30mm ! Any advice would’ve most welcome

Gee whiz. Not sure I can help here as I have only done one convertible top and this it. I did have an issue with the center clamp not aligning with the center window strut. I overcame this by altering the top window screen chrome position to move the strut position and got things to align and the clamps to work.
