Just a tip. When the weather gets hotter and drier in the summer. Leave your grass cut a little longer....the number 6 setting . This keeps the lawn self shaded and prevents burn out. Most people cut their grass way too short.
I know you’re getting lots of tips, but here’s one more from “ mowing granny.” If you do your edging and blowing first, then when you mow and bag, the clippings are picked up and you don’t have the extra step of cleaning them up. More time to flip furniture!
You are going to love love the battery mower. I bought last year a EGO battery mower, and I love my ego mower. It's easy for me to pick up I don't have to mess with spark plugs gas the fumes the weight of it. I can pick it up and put it in my car and mow my daughter's yard, its that easy! I can't say enough about a battery mower, you are going to love a battery mower!
We love our electric mower!!! We've had it for 9 years. My husband mulches everything & we compost everything. Electric mowers are so quiet & so much better for the environment.😊
So many great things about this video, but I will focus on the fancy filming techniques! I'm thinking you've got a drone now to get those aerial shots? They were great, plus the split screen -- all so professional. Just compost those grass clippings, please -- you can use the compost they'll make in your flower beds. Can't wait to see this place a year from now!
Mowing has never been so pleasing to my eyes; nice videography! I’ve been quite pleased with Ryobi! The 1st Gen brushless mower is giving me some problems but it looks like that has been fixed with the updated versions!
We ordered the Lauren "Miracle Tonic and Hair Restorer". We love it.The Lauren Vegetable Peeler is great. We just finished 200lbs of rutabaga jam. We peeled them in just minutes.
I am in West O and just bought the same mower today! I could not believe the difference from my old gas mower . It’s so light and quiet. And I mulched on the highest level and it took care of the high grass no problem!
Yep electric has a cord and battery operated doesn't. I recently saw a RUclips channel where the guy had a battery operated chainsaw and everyone was criticising him for using a electric chainsaw rather than gas, but it wasn't electric. Lol
I have the same lawnmower blower and Weedwhacker you’re definitely gonna need more batteries for the Weedwhacker and the blower because it dies pretty quick
Great investment! We have a large yard (1.5 acres) so we have a riding mower but we do all trimming with an electric mower, trimmer and blower. I usually do that while my husband mows the rest of the yard.
Oh how I wish I have grass my grass is so brown, here in Colorado we are in a drought and we have water restrictions, but I love my WORX lawnmower, weed eater, pressure washer and leave blower they all are battery operator besides de leave blower 😊😀
1 stop bagging your yard mulch it 2 if you must bag it put the clippings on the dead spots in the front 3 your back yard has brown spots thats a sign of stress or cinch bugs first feed it .
Lauren, you are not supposed to cut off more than 1/3 of the grass length on any one day of mowing. If so, you will shock the grass. If it gets very long only cut off 1/3, wait 3 days and cut it again but again only 1/3 removed. It's called the "1/3 rule" of lawn mowing. Best of luck to you and Neiman with the new home 🏡.
You kept saying these tools are "Electric." They're not,,,they are battery charged. There are no electrical cords to plug in for any of those tools to run. The battery tools are okay as long as you don't have a lot of grass to cut, weed whack etc. If you do have a good size lawn area, you'll have to re-charge the batteries to be able to finish. Another little note just so you know. You are pronouncing Ryobi incorrectly. The "Y" is pronounced like an "I." It's always fun to get new tools. Enjoy!! 😊
@@FurnitureFlippingTeacher yup , electric actually has a long cord that’s plugged into the electrical socket the whole time you mow. But really your Battery has to be charged by electricity so I guess same but different …. Hahaha.

Yes, It’s true

Ah, I was thinking that would be a good idea. Great tip
Oooo... Great tip! I'll have to try that myself.
Never heard that but clever!
@@baronesselsavonfreytag-lor1134 I assumed "mowing granny "was a RUclips channel but cannot find her?
@@GreatGrannyFreeBird I don't know, I assumed she was being colorful.
I'm so happy for you & Neiman. You are exactly what this property needed. It was nice that you could grab a little vacation. Welcome home!🌷🌷
Great choice - I love my electric Ryobi mower! I have a large lawn and a hill (and I'm a 75 year old female)
great video! thanks for the excellent demo. Ryobi should sponsor this video.
Lawn cutting teacher!! Wow 🤩 great job Lauren.. Look at the lines in that grass!!
I bought that same mower three weeks ago. I also have many of the Ryobi tools. They are awesome and work great.

Love it!! That was one of the most enjoyable things about these products was the lack of noise. So so nice!
Thanks for watching 😃
Wow ! The electric equipment did a really nice job 👍!!
Congratulations 🎈!

Grass clippings can be added to chalk paint for that indoor outdoor environmentally friendly look on flipped furniture.

Someone needs to contact Ryobi and send them this video…maybe they would sponsor them for Ryobi? This was a great video about all things Ryobi!
Dude, this was just one giant ad. I knew before I even clicked the thumbnail
Next important project...new front porch.
Love the self propel. My lower back really appreciated it.
❤️❤️❤️ my Ryobi tools, my latest purchase is the tire inflator
Your yard is looking good
Thanks Kathleen! We can't wait to continue upgrading it (:
Thanks for watching.

good demo
@RYOBI TOOLS USA should sponsor you guys !!!! U explain this better then them 👍
We agree 😉
Thanks for watching Judith!
I LOVE my Ryobi mower and snowblower! Both are awesome e and use the same batteries!
No wonder you finished so quickly with two people mowing. Was that your twin cutting the other side of the yard? 😁
The lawns look great
You should trim first blow back in the yard then mow
Cool. We’ve got the Ryobi trimmer and blower. Still using an old gas push mower. I think it’s propelled…my son mows. 😁
Thank you great vid
We love Ryobi products! I hope you do too!
That is actually a "cordless" mower. I was looking at them a while back, so appreciated the vid. Thank you.
Yep electric has a cord and battery operated doesn't. I recently saw a RUclips channel where the guy had a battery operated chainsaw and everyone was criticising him for using a electric chainsaw rather than gas, but it wasn't electric. Lol
I have everything Ryobi including the electric riding mower and LOVE it!
Yard looks great!!!
I have the same lawnmower blower and Weedwhacker you’re definitely gonna need more batteries for the Weedwhacker and the blower because it dies pretty quick
Awesome!!!
But how long will the battery run when you have 1/2 acre to mow?
I just Skipped through alot of videos to watch urs !

Thanks for sharing! We love having you here for the journey!
I have a battery powered lawnmower aswell and they are just the best thing ever.

I love it! It's a great choice!

That is awesome! Have fun! We enjoyed these products and definitely plan on adding to the inventory!
I appreciate the lawn care content! So helpful!
glad you enjoyed! 😀
Nice job! Now have Nathan use the power washer, it will look so different. 😎
Fun to watch a woman make lawn care choices!
I want one!!!
Great video!
Good job with the law !
I spied a big expense in your near future and that is a new roof.
Yes! That is definitely on the list!
1 stop bagging your yard mulch it 2 if you must bag it put the clippings on the dead spots in the front 3 your back yard has brown spots thats a sign of stress or cinch bugs first feed it .
Next, invest in the hedge trimmers! Best investment!
We will have to look into those! Thanks Heidi (:

A 10-minute commercial for Ryobi? Hmmm.
Not at all affiliated with Ryobi! Just wanted to share our experience mowing at our new home 👍🏼
Why do you throw away your grass clippings? What a waste of good mulching material
Please don't send your cuttings to a landfill! Ugh, they will breakdown naturally in your yard. Nice mower!
So this is a 10 min ad for Ryobi…
Nope just a supplemental product review we thought we would do to provide info on our first experience with a battery powered lawn mower.
Is that a school over there? Oh no.
Is this a paid partnership ad? If so then be sure to explain this from the beginning next time. Thanks.
This was not a paid partnership. We bought these tools ourselves and just wanted to share our experience (:
Was this sponsored by Ryobi? If it is you should really say it in the title.
as stated in the video, it was not sponsored at all. thanks for watching!
I’m not worried about your grass I’m worried about you posting identifying information about your house 😟

Electric? Battery power maybe . Anyways cheaper than gas.
Are they different? 😅

Currently one is AC, the other DC.
