i'm from South Africa as well and I've been trying to do my own research but I also wanted to make sure with you. You can have any degree right? It doesn't have to be a degree in English?
I had thought about becoming an Ebglish teacher in South Korea as I taught a 73 year old Korean lady English since she was having a hard time and she lived nearby and it made me so happy when she began having an easier time. I have been trying to learn Korean, but it isn't going too well, sadly.
If I am a high school student in the US and I want to go international for college to South Korea, what are some of your tips? Also I know that the grading and schooling is different there than it is in the US, so I guess what I’m asking is how hard do you think it will be to adjust/ get good grades in South Korea?

I’ve heard of some people not from the 7 native countries that have gotten the job as a English teacher there. May I know if being from those countries is a hard and fast rule, or if it’s also up to the employers discrestion
