The board will be held accountable if we fail to invest In the forward line this January and end up in the same position in May . Need someone either on right or left or centrally . It’s pure neglect and this manager will ultimately pay the price
I don't think artera will pay the price, but if they dont give him what he needs, i fear he will not stay. I don't think they will do anything this transfer window. I think the board wants to see how this season goes. But if they dont get him a world class striker in the summer, then the 25/6 season will be his last.

I personally don’t like this ownership there’s a reason we haven’t won anything since they been here
@efeegbra9190 but he had to back them because when he had a rough start, they backed him and didn't get rid of him. Also, for team selection, i think with injuries, it's just not for us this season. All our slump games came first when odegard was out and now our star boy. I dont want to give up on the season but im already looking at next season. I just pray they get us that golden striker in the summer. And someone to replace thomas partey in midfield.

Charles’s question was good and Mikel’s response was rubbish. Charles placed the figures in front of him and he couldn’t respond wisely. We had the best defense in the league last year/ season and he still spent money to add a player in the defense. So if we scored the most goals last season why didn’t he still invest in the attack as he did to an already good defense? Our problem isn’t that Arsenal is broke, it’s that Mikel makes the wrong choices. Give him a 100m and I bet you he’d sign a GK and defensive players instead of the attacking players we all know we need. It’s his mindset, he is heavily defensively focused and doesn’t want to deal with the ego of a big name CF or AM.
Fluff and no ambition from Arsenal. Average ambitions, average fan base, average football club. That’s why they will never sign if you’re top quality players without letting their existing top quality players go

@@supercellgenius9302 But you have, in your own words, "the best manager in world football today" who you've been noshing off for the last 5 years so why the sudden change?
Sorry to repeat what is already known: The owners of Arsenal are traditional american businessmen and making money is the primary, the only consideration. They do not have the same passions, emotions, or desires as fans. Will they take risks to win? No. Will they be devastated if Arsenal don't win? No. Arsenal are just an investment for them, the same as a stock or bond. They could own Tottenham, an ice hockey team, or an apartment complex, and they would feel the same as they do about owning Arsenal. That doesn't mean Arsenal won't ever win. Liverpool's owners follow the same model, and they win. However, it is difficult when competing against clubs with owners who don't care about losses (City, Chelsea under Abromovich) or who follow high-risk/reward models of investing (Chelsea under Boehly, et al.
They own teams that have hoisted Super Bowl trophies, Stanley Cups, and NBA Championship trophies. Whole lotta winnin goin on with in the portfolio. Btw… most successful business models include making money.
@tclem2069 One of each. American sports teams, completely different models. I'm not impressed. And the last 10 years in the PL? City, Chelsea, and 2 outliers, Leicester and Liverpool. Liverpool made wise use of a ridiculous fee for Coutinho and Leicester was a sports miracle.
@@tclem2069They don’t care about English football. Barely turn up to watch the games if at all. No fucking ambition when this team is crying out for reinforcements. We better complain now instead of waiting for Saka and Saliba to leave as they won’t be extending with 2 years left on their contract this summer. 3 seasons in a row without winning silverware, you think they’ll tie themselves down for more? No. Time to get serious and invest in the team before fans start protesting for them (KSE) to leave the club.
Hey Charles, I'd like to see a lot of rotation tomorrow. The team I'd pick is: Neto Timber Saliba Calafori Zinny Jorge Odegaard Havertz Sterling Jesus Martineli Odegaard Jorgie and Zinny cutting the United Defence with passes for Sterling and the little gabis to run in behind. I know I was overconfident with the Newcastle predictions, but I'm going to go again 4 or 5-1 Arsenal 😂😂 Mon da Gunners
When Arteta talks about quality players rather than quantity and just signing bodies what went wrong with Vierra Havertz Lokongo Tavares Runnarsson Luiz Kibior Zinchenko Marquineous William Jorgeinio Neto maybe Merino Tommi injuries and I'm sure there are more disaster signings. Raya has to be no 1 we need to win this game this could be the most important game of the season. Charles do you think Edu and Arteta fell out over the Merino signing given that Edu said he was concerned about signing players over 28.
Gday Charles great show as usual, can’t say the same for some of the negative nancys commenting here. You wouldnt believe we are second in the league despite serious injuries to our best players and several points dropped due to dodgy VAR, what do these ‘fans’ want from Arteta FFS

Arsenal will sign no one if you listen to what Arteta said he was very politically astute on saying we don’t have the money spend basically the owners will not back him in this transfer window.
City are making movements in this transfer window to turn their season around. They’re signing a prolific attacker when they already have Haaland. The club cannot say there are no options out there in this window. There looks to be some really high quality attackers available but we are not being linked with any of them, what is going on?!
If Trossard starts, we will not score! He is an impact player only. Calafiori at LB, Timber RB, Gabriel & Saliba in Middle. Midfield Partey, Rice & Odegaard, Attack Martinelli, Havertz & Jesus.
I keep repeating my self, We have no money to spend, UNLESS Stan or the bank advance the money. We have to balance the books ie; sell before we buy. It must be obvious to most on here. Aeteta is not stupid, he can see the frustration of the fans for a couple of obvious positions. If he had ready money he would spend it. So we will keep being fed links from the Arsenal PR desk to keep the fans exciting. End of the window , "we run out of time" or in comes a freebi. In case they find some money down the back of the sofa !! Buy Kvaratskhelia Arteta Quote. "If any one comes on the market who will improve the club" Well here he is !! Dont hold your breath.
@greyhound1racing - makes sense; and if I don't know if/how long some of the current [or relatively recent] player's purchases have been amortized, what we received from ESR, Eddie, Aaron, et al., doesn't square up to what we spent the previous 18 mos. It SEEMs, sometimes, peeps think the club is a 'bottomless' $ pit - or don't take the league's financial regs into account...
I expect very little this Jan maybe a loan or two or a very lucky signing of a player is very unhappy elsewhere. Worryingly we still haven’t got a new technical director in yet and I expect that soon not at the beginning of the summer window they’ll have had long enough to appoint someone. Of in the summer it’s a poor window I want the Kroenkes out and won’t accept any excuse they’ll have failed big time as owners if we are pissing around this summer in the transfer market.
When are the arsenal fan base going to realise there will be no signings in January Maybe a loan signing for a washed up chelsea or man city has been it's only gona be like this wile the kroenkies own the club
Yeah clearly the money isn’t being made available and Arteta has to be the front man who will shoulder that. However, even when he does hold an interest in a player I’m not always convinced it’s the right allocation of resources like now the desire for Nico Williams to be the next big signing in the summer. That’s a player that again you can just tell won’t be ready to take Arsenal to the next level and we’d need someone with a more proven track record of performing for his club week in week out at the top of their league
He's a reporter who happens to be a AFC fan not a child so needs to balanced he's already said we need transfer. Go to AFTV if you want that ranting type content
Hi Charles what about in 2018 when Josh said be excited and Arteta saying we need to maximise every window, seems Arteta now is just like wenger was, a puppet for the board
Some folks just want to challenge, not win. How can you be okay with a disproportionate amount of spending on defenders when it achieved absolutely nothing!!
Zidane saw that Odegard was not good enough for Real Madrid, so they sent him to Real Sociedad, where he could play well and without pressure. At Arsenal, there is pressure every day, so the signing policy should be focused on established players and not young players who cannot handle the pressure and responsibility of the club.
Every business, every organization and every individual has limitations - I don't place any significance on what he said there. The biggest impediment to getting what we all want is desire! Does Arteta want a striker? If he does, he will get the board support. If he doesn't, he will get the board support - for now.
Let tgem loose they are not a serious club jst boycott everything buying jackets ,tickets and the owners will feel the pinch i blane u fans you are also not serious enough to for e things to happen if you really like the club and you are serious about it

How can you put havertz money under the attacking budget when artera even said he was bought in as a midfielder? Why didn’t you ask Arteta why did we have 4 left backs on the bench against Newcastle and 1 forward in sterling who’s barely kicked a ball for us.
This is such a disingenuous comment. There was no option to buy Isak OR Havertz. Isak was not available then when we bought Havertz. He was already at Newcastle and had come off an injury hit season.
Hi Charles, why do Arsenal historically faff about with getting new players in? The likes of Chelsea and City do their respective business early but we act like a small club with no money. Jonesey

You could be the world's richest man, and not get the lover you want without breaking laws. People who think the same doesn't apply in football make me laugh. People have the right to say no.
Money has never been a problem at Arsenal. The lack of ambition is the problem. Shopping in Chelsea's dumpster year after David Luiz and Willian is an example of what gets fans upset. Let's face it, compared to other clubs, Arsenal have tons of money, it's how they use it that drives fans mad. Players that would improve us are often ignored for unknown reasons. Something isn't right and we come to that stage again where players need to leave and we have to get new ones.
@@Khannonballthese owners are not invested in the club like most people think unlike their other NBA team the D. updated training ground?! the same training ground thet the England national team refused to train at cause it's a parking lot and may cause injuries( which we have seen players that were not injury prone before coming to arsenal being injure prone)
Good morning Charles. 🙏 praying for a good game against man utd. Not too worried about how many goals we score or do not score. Just a good performance and a 1-0 win will be ok for me.
I know it sounds bad, but if we lose would it prompt the fans to get onto this club to finally do things in the transfers market in January to get over the line, the fact we are not linked with Kvaraskhelia is worry.

Seems to me Miles might matchup better against Amad and Califiori against Kulesevski. Meanwhile as far as Arteta's 'limitations' comment, obviously only he knows what it means but it seems logical he might be a suggesting the club is not prepared to drop 150 million on Isak and Newcastle is not going to sell him at this point either.
What on earth was the point of taking Sterling on loan? We are paying this guy nearly 100k per week and for what? The summer transfer window was poor for us, and here we are one third of the way through this transfer window with no new players in. Woeful!
Mikel could easily be a "spokesperson" for Spain/EU, and would probably increase efficiency and effectiveness ...

I don't want Arteta spending more millions. His ineptitude has got in too much deadwood already!
to be fair to Bayindir , Onana was also scored on directly from a corner.
@ I agree with you but he hasn’t helped him self backing the kroenkes and saying they’re the best owners in the world when we all know it’s gaslighting fans and his team selection and tactics this season has been shocking too they are all accountable just a shame the club is gonna let another season drift without bringing in the needed personnel .

Ødegaard better not drop another stinker tomorrow.

My hunch Arsenal won't buy and with Saka out watch for defeat and decline.
Arteta bought Havertz instead of Isak the End.
Hey Charles, I'd like to see a lot of rotation tomorrow. The team I'd pick is:
Neto
Timber Saliba Calafori Zinny
Jorge
Odegaard Havertz
Sterling Jesus Martineli
Odegaard Jorgie and Zinny cutting the United Defence with passes for Sterling and the little gabis to run in behind.

My starting would be,
Raya
Timber, Saliba, Gabi, Calafori
Odegaard, Rice, Merino
Jesus, havertz, Martinelli
We need this win to kick start the week. Coyg
I think it depends what you expect from the club. Are we tier 1 club? Then we don’t behave like that. Signing unwanted players and trying to turn them into better players is not what the biggest clubs do. Lets say we are tier 2 club and it will all make sense.
Nar……..Wilson, Rice, McNab, Simpson, McLintock, Storey, Graham, Armstrong, George, Radford, Kennedy………….Real men, they didn’t bottle things!
We have limitation on Arteta annual wages too. 2nd highest in the world of football?
Arteta never answers a single question with a straightforward answer. He’s like a politician.
When are the arsenal fan base going to realise there will be no signings in January
Maybe a loan signing for a washed up chelsea or man city has been it's only gona be like this wile the kroenkies own the club
Blar Blar Blar………..Arteta has way too much power & arrogance now! The more he is told by fans & media he needs strikers the more he will ignore.
Charles, you need to call the lack of action out more than you actually are. If i didn’t know better I’d say you were a mouth piece for the club
He's a reporter who happens to be a AFC fan not a child so needs to balanced he's already said we need transfer. Go to AFTV if you want that ranting type content
I won't be surprised Arteta get sacked at the end of the season. We need to sign world class manager
I feel we won't make any transfer ins this month. Arteta has no sporting director like Edu to get things over the line.
Hi Charles what about in 2018 when Josh said be excited and Arteta saying we need to maximise every window, seems Arteta now is just like wenger was, a puppet for the board
The team of stingy Kroenkes and stubborn Arteta, useless club
Some folks just want to challenge, not win. How can you be okay with a disproportionate amount of spending on defenders when it achieved absolutely nothing!!
Limitations are probably FFP. That's the limitation on most big clubs owned by billionaires.
Okay, but to be fair, had Mr. Havertz not been moved up front, more money would have been spent on the forward line since.
And don’t you dare deprive us of updates about your laundry and etc. Mr. Watts!
After spunking/wasting 65mill and 275k a week on Havertz, where's the money for a proper striker?
He wasted 65m on Havertz and he has the audacity to have a dig at the board .
Mikels starting to sound like a company man unfortunately
Since the start of the season I noticed the change of tune with him - new contract signed seems very comfortable

Shut up 😂
Every business, every organization and every individual has limitations - I don't place any significance on what he said there. The biggest impediment to getting what we all want is desire! Does Arteta want a striker? If he does, he will get the board support. If he doesn't, he will get the board support - for now.
You should know by now Arteta won’t give anything away on any front.
Let tgem loose they are not a serious club jst boycott everything buying jackets ,tickets and the owners will feel the pinch i blane u fans you are also not serious enough to for e things to happen if you really like the club and you are serious about it
Play the same team to Newcastle
I hope Arsenal crash out of the competition.... seriously need to get our weaknesses in the open....if we win, the owners and the coach will fall back to their cozy couch and the same cycle will turn again. Wait for summer.....ooooh oooh too much wait for January...ooh ooh too much let's wait for summer again. Oh no our best players are out of contract so let's sell them before they run out of contract. Oh no we have to rebuild again.....meanwhile other clubs are winning silverwares effing heck. This will probably get the coach the sack and then the whole "dance" begins again. Let's not forget that the Kroenkes effectively sacked our legendary manager Arsene Wenger with their austere approach.
Unpopular opinion- i hope, and want us, to win tomorrow but i ain't going to lose my 💩if we get knocked out because with the injuries we already have I'm not sure we can cope with any extra games.
How can you put havertz money under the attacking budget when artera even said he was bought in as a midfielder?
Why didn’t you ask Arteta why did we have 4 left backs on the bench against Newcastle and 1 forward in sterling who’s barely kicked a ball for us.
Arteta is being vague as he can't out his bosses. But we needed a striker when he bought Havertz instead of Isak and overpaid his salary.
This is such a disingenuous comment.
There was no option to buy Isak OR Havertz. Isak was not available then when we bought Havertz. He was already at Newcastle and had come off an injury hit season.
Or LIMITATIOS OF GOOD PLAYERS THIS WINTER.
Hi Charles, why do Arsenal historically faff about with getting new players in? The likes of Chelsea and City do their respective business early but we act like a small club with no money. Jonesey

When Kai Havertz signed i thought it would cost Mikel his career at Arsenal and sadly in more convinced of that, now more than ever.

Previous season we were so close to title and our weakest spot was LB on the field, so they bought Calafiori. Everyone screaming we need striker, but Havertz was doing pretty good in that position. Currently we are not in the best form but its gonna improve, i would rather see new RW to backup Saka, and maybe another 8, because Merino is not good enough there and Rice is better on 6.
