I think it’s nice to see one of these without the giant resin blob. I like the look of the big old chips in there and the transparent case is really eye catching. They could include the screws and acrylic sliding part separately in a little baggie in with the console though if it snaps easily.🙂

At least you didn't have to do a teardown LOL. I know that was probably a bummer for you cuz you like to get inside of these machines to see what makes them tick. For this one you could see right through it LOL, it looks cool that's a really nice clear very crystal clear case
I swapped the CPU, PPU and crystal in mine. Eventually I'll add the HiDef NES kit as well.
Those big chips seem to be original chips from the '80s, rather than your typical clone chips. Likely have been recycled from dead original NES or Famicom consoles, or "new old" stock and are likely to be low in numbers left, hence the price.
Yes, Friday the 13th and Nightmare On Elm Street on NES are 4 player. I think RC Pro Am (or the sequel) is 4 player.
I think the glitching is normal (sprite multiplexing in Double Dragon). But the game or music sounded slow. Maybe because PAL?

I have one on the way that looks exactly like this one but, I was able to choose an NTSC version. I have no need for it whatsoever but was taken in by the "cute" factor and the $43.09 USD delivered price. That cheap price includes sales tax in my area as well. I normally play FC and NES games on an Analogue Nt Mini Noir so I'll probably hook it up to test and then put it in indefinite storage. I do hope mine doesn't come with a broken cart slot cover and wish it had standard controller ports. If they made an HDMI output version in at least 720p, they would sell a lot of these. I'm also hoping it works with an Everdrive as I don't own many FC cartridges.
The ideia with this 2 sockets for the cpu e ppu chips is give you the possibility of replace them by the original nintendo cpu e ppu chips, so you will have a authentic famicim/nes working in this board.
Looks like it should be one those Do it yourself soldering kits. Its a shame it isn't because that looks like it would have been fun to put together.
The acrylic design looks cool but not practical, the slider will more than likely scratch the top of the system with sliding back and forward over time I think. For the price should have no glitches but it's not a game breaker. Great upload wicked as always 👍😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

There are a few Kunio-kun games in japan that support 4 players. Nekketsu Kakuto Densetsu is awesome, one of the best 4-player games ever
I remember the original official NES console av output RCA jacks were red and white ,, strangely it never had a yellow RCA jack ,,, I think video was the red one ,,,😎👍

I had been curious on thisone for thelongest time, but the connectors, controllers and video out is so subpar.
i like the design - now region switch and hdmi - and no i never had a multitap, i don't know enough people round here that would play video games (and i didn't back than)

This famiclone is very unique, for once it's basically the only one that it's actually PAL (that's why the music sounds off, Wicked used the wrong carts :P).
There are a few people who modded it NTSC.
The colors being off is in the clone ppu.
What are the ic markings btw?
Does it have UM/UMC chips in there?

Slight brain fart? I'd think they'd have to mess it up very much for the sound effects to not be there - because you are using original cartridges, not having to rely on built-in games. Just thought I should mention. Hope that is okay. (Those controller plugs on the device remind me of the ports on a PC, for connecting non-ps2 mice, etc. Very odd to see them on a more modern device.). Shame that a more modern device didn't use an HDMI, surely that could have been done? Just saying.
Trying to sell a cool looking Famicom well at least they are doing something different then what most do with making the same thing and keep re-releasing the same old Famicom clones with the same games installed on them.
