Random Color Challenge | Kat Von D | Saint + Sinner Palette

- Hey Fiends! I've seen a bunch of people on RUclips do this radom makeup challenge( Jessica Haze, Makeup Mouse aka Heather Moorhouse, and Jkissa ) so I've wanted to try it out for myself! Naturally, I thought the Kat Von D Saint and Sinner palette would be a fun choice. It didn't really go as planned, in fact I would consider it an epic fail. (I do think the lashes helped a ton, but the look on its own was rather disappointing to me.) Maybe I should give it another go? Let me know what you think!

a funnier way to do this is to make numbers 1-5 ..lid, crease, brow bone, outer corner and lower lash line....then after you pick a number you draw the shade..you have to put that shade in that area....it would be hysterical :)

The Saint and Sinner palette is so perfect for that challenge. So many random and crazy combinations can come out of it.
Loved that you hated the look you came up with. Hahaha! It really wasn't that bad, you did a pretty decent job considering the colors you were working with. Thumb up for you!! 😉

Sara Monster I think the people who say they got inspired doing the challenge are the ones who picked some crazy colors. The ones you got weren't fun enough to allow you to be crazy creative. You should totally give it another try and maybe you'll get luckier. I'd love to see what you come up with using bright colorful shades.

OMG !!!!! I've used my saint sinner palette as my go to since i got it.....ugh.....im in love want to get the sinner perfume. Exorcism looks epic with this look.
Honestly, with the liner and lashes it didn’t look too bad. I highly doubt there’s a look out there that would be bad on you! Gorgeous as always! 🖤

Fabulous as always Sara! The only reason I have not bought this palette is bc of the brown/bronze/gold shades. I cannot handle them on myself. You turned my nightmare color combo into art on yourself. I am a cool tones girl that appreciates your creation of a beautiful eye in this scary restrictive challenge. :) Thank you for sharing!

I liked the way you blended the stigmata into revelation. It wasn’t what you think would work, but I thought it looked pretty. Definitely you didn’t have the most outrageous draw. I’d be interested in seeing this again.

The colors may not have been ideal but you made them look great! I'd like to see you do this again. It's make-up roulette, guess the trick is to apply them without wanting to shot yourself over how bad it might look by the end. LOL

This look isn’t terrible. You can pull off anything!! I would feel extremely limited if I could only use certain shadows. Maybe try again with a different palette.

I feel like it looked good overall except for the very light color up top right next to the red color on the lower lids. I think a more beige color up top next time and that reddish color would look gorgeous

I can't believe I enjoy makeup videos.
From some angles the eyeshadow looks kind of pretty on you, then the other angles go back to looking awkward. It's an interesting idea to go with a color you might not normally reach for on yourself, sometimes you'll be amazed. Other times you reaffirm why you don't wear that color like that or at all.
I personnaly love this make up look !! But try again, and hopefully you'll get the weird corlours together which is really fun :p

lol. Personally I like the look considering what you had to work with. Tbh i'm surprised you didn't do a black or dark brown lip.

I think you did a good job, considering you had to work with neutrals and a sort of weak red. You look really pretty, actually, but I know you've done much better when you can control the colors you use. I never use browns and neutrals in general, so I would feel kind of weird too.

I would have enjoyed it if you had enjoyed it. Saying you hated it and calling it trash kind of sucked the fun out of it! Also, it left me hoping that you never find my IG and look at my makeup looks! Maybe because you do makeup for beauty for a living (rather than art) you need to feel more in control?

I think its kinda a luck of the pick. It could be good or not so good, depending on what colors you get...

I think you did a good job with the colors you had to use and once you were done I was thinking of a dark seductress 🙂💜🦇. I if you are not happy maybe you can film a Re-visit in other colors later

I think u r being way too hard on this. I think it came out great. I want to pseudo recreate without the silver color and maybe only one brown but I love the brown red combo.

Hmm... yeah I kind of agree. Not a fantastic color combination. It’s not god awful but it also could’ve been much worse
