Looking back seven years to your video on 'Why I play cigar box guitar', I would love to see a video on how to play guitar rag in Blues University.

So cool! You make it look easy Shane but practice, practice, practice and I'll be able to do it too. 🎸🇬🇧

As always, great stuff. I love the unintimidating approach you take to music. In this lesson I used my low CGC CBG to play in the normal open position so was an octave below your playing as this song was in the key of C which is unusual (for CBG players). Love it!

The harp part is really not that difficult. The hard part is pulling of Cottons big fat harp tone and nuanced playing style ! He plays it in first position on a C harp. All tongue blocked of course. Main riff is 4B, 3D', 2D", 2D', 2D You can also play this in second position on a F harp. Or try a low F harp for something different.

    Didn't Muddy Waters invent electricity?
Okay Shane, I picked up my dang guitar! But it is a 4 song tonight.

Sounds like he borrowed Ray Charles’ chord progression from Hallelujah I Love Her So, or maybe the other way around????
