Ok, have never really cut an avacado before (or even had it actually) but this is GENUINELY helpful.
Like, I used to think the st*bbing knife to the pit is risky. I also thought cutting the avacado with it's skin on could easily cut through the skin if the avacado is ripe enough. I may have to cut an avacado one day but I'm sure this video is going to stick with me. I can feel it
Edit: Ahh, people in the internet. It was amusing going through the replies. Interesting indeed.
I now know it's 'AvOcado', not 'AvAcado'. It's almost as if I've never used the word before as I've never had it.
Also, if you were in YT long enough, you would know that YT bans the most random words. Though, if you making fun of people for bleeping a single letter makes you feel better (Ah, I'm an expert in rhyming), then you do you.
I thought my comment made it clear but you can never be clear enough for some people ig. There's my pep talk. I'll be closing the curtains now. Hopefully everything's cleared up

I used to cut it like this. But using a butter knife is much easier when the skin won't peel off. And how easily the skin peels off also depends on the type of avocado.

So ig I'm the only one who peels the whole avocado without cutting it or taking out the seed, just seems satisfying to me

I honestly thought this is how everyone does this, but for the pit one I used to take a butcher knife because it's nice and heavy and it can easily go through the seed, but now I just take a the edge handle part teaspoon and pry out the seed

I hate avocado but peeling an avocado was my favorite way to relieve my stress it just feels satisfying

We just rotate cut it on our hands and make them into medium size slices (when I think of slices I think of like piece of a large orange and not those small sizes), if you squeeze the ovocado the seed will pop out. You can take it out with a spoon too, watching you take it out with your finger tip gave me uneasy chills. It can also damage the seed (you can’t plant it anymore).

Or to cutting to slices you can leave the skin on and cut the skin with the avocado facing down the board like on the board and cut the skin and then once you have your slices you can peel off the skin of the slices and it will be fresh

I used to work st subway and we always used to cut avocado. Protip for the pit: you can wedge it out using a butter knife in a turning motion like you're opening a door knob so you don't have to risk your nail trying to get the pit.

Alternative: Simply pop out the seed by pressing both your thumbs onto the center on its back(peel). And it will pop out. Easier than digging into the seed .
