Aside from nier style combat and nioh youkai ability everything looks same to me, same grinding same exploration style same gameplay loop. I hope going forward wuwa take different direction. In wuwa case I don't feel it. It's feel similar to genshin. It's feel like sequel rather than different game. Like Dark souls and Elden ring they looks different but feel the same. My muscle memory is fried.
It actually happens in the other way to me. After playing some WuWa, now I can perfectly dodge most of the attacks bosses in Genshin.
Still no parry sucks, by the way 😅
This is normal actually lol. Play WuWa or PGR and you learn to manage your dodges better and it translates well into Genshin
It's really easy to dodge on those type if game nowadays, for me of course as a racing game enthusiast. But damn, souls game really gave me hard time, these game dodge and parry system can't be labeled as the same level. Not that I say there's any people who do that.
@@nandaselole223 Well, souls games usually have a good amount of frames window for dodging. The difficult part is managing your Stamina. Doing a parry in a Souls game is more difficult than dodge, but for the risk of failure rather than for frames Window of the parry animation.
I think WuWa gameplay is more similar to Devil May Cry rather than a Souls game 😊
@@Yawar25 Best take right there. Idk why people keep comparing WuWa to soul games. Soul-like genre is lots harder than WuWa, look at Lies of P, that's the easiest soul-like. DMC is the best example for Wuwa similarity, with a little bit of Nier. It's reasonable tho, mobile players facing huge disadvantages compared to console/PC so it's unnecessary for WuWa to be at Souls level of difficulty.
@@cyramiko6601 Animation Locks what makes souls game very hard (gravity too), which is opposite of usual hack&Slash game like Wuwa, you can just animation cancel to dodge easily.
But the way the bosses move, even dark soul 1 and 2 lacked compared to most action games nowdays, even Wuwa, i'm talking about boss difficulty alone.

Well, right now it's just heavily inspired, but CBT-1 WuWa *was* just a Genshin ripoff
When WuWa was released, i grinded tf out of it for about 4 days, reaching UL36 and having about atleast 35% exploration on all locations
Then I came back to genshin, and it was that i realized genshin had A LOT of flaws that WuWa adapted to, ngl im still playing genshin but not being able to run up walls will probably bug me till the end of time
Imagine exploring Natlan with those huge ass landscape and not being able to wall run

@@johnd7760 It's not guaranteed, but it does goes from 50/50 to 80/20, so it will be 5* most of the time. It doesn't change the fact that this horrible Grind system that Asians like is insane. Probably one of the aspects that I will always hate the most about these games. The only thing I hope for, is that WuWa team make a way to get stats we need easier in the future, even if we have to spend resources on it.
Some people don't appreciate that those little QoL stuff add tremendously on the long run, look how all of us adapted really fast to the little things that make traversal easier and now heavily notice the absence of it when playing oyher things.

I'm having the same issue where I try to sprint while climbing in Genshin as well as doing a lot of jump and trying to grapple. It always results in my stamina running out.
After playing WuWa, climbing feels so wierd in genshin especially the fact that I have to wait for the stamina in a ledge with similar height which I can climb faster in WuWa, I got soo used to wall running....

It will be hard to return to Genshin whenever it comes to actually playing the game. I already got on HSR trying to use my Grapple. Wuthering waves knocked out everything aside from story which basically all gacha outside HSR struggle with at the start. You can tell how much work they put into it... The craziest part is how much they're giving free... Meanwhile Genshin you'll be lucky if they give 100 primos.
I still think HSR is better overall than WW, but WW definitely has the combat and exploration trophy. Genshin atleast for now has the aesthetics trophy granted that's subjective.

Trying to change characters when receiving damage and not being able to do anything but watch as you take one beating after another and your HP bar turn red until it disappears is the most annoying change after playing WW.

I went back to Genshin just to help my boyfriend for his Arle farms cuz he's underleveled and I always find myself finding the run button everytime I climb a mountain 😂
Kuro games may have fixed or improved certain part of Genshin to apply it to Wuwa, but let's remember this, they still a different game regardless. Of course each game will have pros and cons, like how parkour and climbing are challenging in genshin, and Voice acting (en) and music are mid in wuwa.
also now i'm forgetting to use yelan and xianyun's skills to move around faster. and trying to sprint and grapple in mid air.
Ok, the jump and dash thing cut me to the BONE, because I started playing WuWa first, and decided to play Genshin after since I really love playing WuWa. Then I started playing Genshin. And don't get me wrong - I also love Genshin. BUT THE SHEER AMOUNT OF TIME I FELL TO MY DEATH/TRIED TO JUMP AND DASH/CLIMB ONTO A ROOF was staggering.
Tbh even when I play both WuWa and Genshin Impact, I don't really forget how to play either one..

I mainly use it for movement and doing the triple jump to get further but it's also useful on the weekly turtle boss to get on top of his shell and break the bell
I used to grapple for plunge attacks until I realized you could just jump 😂
