Where'd you plug the Remote wire?

When you update to rachio product, do you put c wire in old system in c pulge in rachio?

Is the rain sensor needed with the unit’s ability to gather weather information from various sources online?
Good question. No you don't need a rain sensor for this unit. The app that sync with the unit used weather information and helps with regulating the watering. The rain sensor were override the app if you have one.
Studio Ray's Thank you for your prompt reply. I have an older Hunter model with 8 zones. When I removed the front panel I panicked as the zone wires are all red. I’m going to have to label them somehow to make sure I keep the same sequence. The rain sensor is wired to the old unit but wasn’t sure if I needed to use it.

Hi there, how did you open the hunter box? I tried to open but could not.
The unit should not be Difficult to open. It is held by fasteners, just pull on the side and it should open. I hope this helps. Thanks for the feedback and please remember to subscribe to the channel and like the video.
Can I use soil sensors with it?
