This is my favorite video. I can't stop crying. The baby is beautiful. Best wishes to this lovely couple & beautiful baby. Wishes do come true. All the very best in life to you both and your baby son. I can tell what a wonderful loving couple you are. You will make great parents. God bless all of🧸🍼you and congratulations.
I'm a birth mother-it really is the most painful thing. Even 27 years later. One mother grieves and another experiences the most true joy. It's a loss and a gain simultaneously. My son is successful and is loved by so many. My only regret is his adoptive parents were in their mid/late 40's and have passed away.Just couldn't find a younger couple that felt right for me and my son. They gave him the world and he literally grew up a mile from Disney World.Wish this family the best!
Tara Quellhorst What a beautiful story for the birth mother I do not know you,but You are a loving person.God bless all the brave birth mothers who give their babies to other mothers,
My wife & I are parents of 2 adopted kids. Our son is almost 7 now (about same as as your son), and we picked him up from the hospital as well. This video reminds me so much of that day for us (although he started out as a foster for us). Sometimes I wish we could rewind time and go back to that day. So many mixed emotions between the excitement of meeting him for the first time along with the OMG moment when you haven't cared for a child before & hoping you know what to do. Then we got little sister 2-1/2 years later (our kids have same birth mom, different birth dads) - she was unexpected, so we weren't prepared for her when we got the call from the agency. But it all works out in the end, we wouldn't trade them for anything. God bless you all on your journey together.
You make a beautiful family, the way he looked at his Mommy & Daddy, love lit up the room, and he knew he was loved... The look on your faces was priceless! I'm so glad I seen this...
congratulations. I'm adopted and I know this is exactly how my parents reaction was when they came to the hospital to see me being born. I was a open adoption.
I'll never forget what my sister did when they handed her Thomas for the first time. She was sobbing and kept saying there is a Jesus, there is a Jesus then she handed him to me and went to the garbage can and threw up. 😍😃 I handed right back when she washed her face because she said GIVE ME MY BABY! We all laughed so hard. Thomas is now 21 years old and in the United States Army, we are so proud.
You guys are hand picked for this treasure! God bless you guys !!! Perfect choice !!! Sweet Mumma!!! Daddy’s so cute too!! Congratulations guys 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Mommy.......its like he knew you were his Mommy already! Amazing! Congratulations Mommy and Daddy! I wish your family all the best! Yes......i used half a box of tissue wiping tears as i smiled ear to ear!
When I see these things I thank God 1000 times that I raise between my real parents same blood same family who really care of me God helps those poor children
Congratulations on the birth of your son, it’s amazing to watch you fall in love and look so pleased with your gift, and just how beautiful he is, he is actually so similar to you both, his name is a mouthful, Zeke is a lovely name, my friends son is a Zeke xx
when a woman gives a baby to a couple, it makes her happy, and all are joyful over this, this is real joy, this is what we look forward to in life, these bonds, and look at the gratitude the couple has
That is so reductive and dismissive. There are so many emotions, many painful. You are projecting your feelings of joy from watching this video onto every party in the adoption process. You are only acknowledging the joy. And it was such a general statement too. Many birth mothers, like my own, felt pain too. Many adoptees like myself feel pain/trauma and joy. But nevermind that I guess because "ALL are joyful over this."
@@1m6_ I'm looking at the postive parts to this, I'm sorry that you can only look at the sad parts. I am almost 70, worked for an adoption agency, and I totally understand how difficult it is to turn over a child you carried in your own body, I also know how difficult it is to raise a child alone without a husband, so with that, it is joy for a woman who realizes how much this couple has wanted a baby of their own, to give that child to them, and the joy outweighs the worry. Life is full of both emotions, I didn't mean to discount what we already know is involved, my comment was in seeing the joy that outweighs. And most adoptees do not feel pain and trauma, when they are loved and realize their mom gave them up, they many times try to find the mother to find out why, yes, that's true. But being an adoptee does not usually come with pain and trauma, especially if adopted as a baby.
@@donnavaughn9409 it is not true that if you were adopted as a baby you do not feel paint or trauma. I was adopted as a baby. I was not abused. The trauma is the separation. We are the only ones who are adopted. You should be active elevating the adult adoptees voices. As someone who is not adopted or not an bio-mother, (from what I know) it is not and will never be your place to say the joy outweighs the pain this is simply not your experience to speak personally on. You have worked in the adoption process for a while but I will have lived as an adoptee for longer that you have worked in the agency. I am the one living as an adoptee. Hey Tarra My husband and i are going through our first adoption faith adventure... We're waiting on the birth mother too go into labor anytime in the next week or so. We know its a baby girl
Its awesome that he was adopted. It looks like they love him a lot... It just makes me sad that the mother didnt want /couldnt have him. That has to be difficult for him to deal with as he gets older and is told his birth story.
I agree it will be difficult. She loved him enough to choose life and then choose a family that could support him in ways she couldn't. I love her and think about her each day. I hope his heart knows he was not ever "given up," but loved enough to have two mamas. Thank you for your sweet comment.
