I've been having so much fun with the Gumbi and have basically mastered it, now I'm moving on to the TD Raiz. I just want to thank you so much for teaching people like me how to do awesome tricks like this!
I can't thank you enough! I started letting my gumbi yesterday and got it. They are so much fun. I am working on my touchdown rise which is a little harder but I have faith that I can get it. Your vidoes are some of the best tutorials I have seen. You post so much content and the stuff is things that most people don't teach. You are absolutely amazing and I just want to say thank you!
Definitely gonna start calling it a “Tiddy Raiz” starting today xD Great tutorial ! I’m relearning this from the ground up since I originally learned my Raiz as a Tornado Kick leaning back - but it never really turned into an inversion so here I am xD
Hey Kyle!!! Just came home from my local gym... One session and I have learned both the Gumbi and the TD Raiz!!! your videos are a great help! thank you!!! next goal: trippel cork! ;-) cheers from Denmark
+Darren Reeve please search my channel for the cheat gainer tutorial. I have well over 100+ Tutorials on my channel and there's bound to be several that you can learn from right now. So many newcomers miss out on so much knowledge because they don't look through my videos.
hi kyle, are there any requirements in flexibility for those tricks? like a solid backbridge and good hip flexibility? would be great if you say something about that in your videos... i assume that good flex helps alot but my question is if its impossible for stiff old ppl like me who can barely backbridge and 60-70%-range splits :D. keep going and greets from germany
+schneeekind You guessed it all correctly my friend. If you're wise enough to think of that on your own then it really doesn't need to be said. However it should always go without saying that the more flexibility you have the more control you can have. =) Anyone can do it, they just gotta put the time and effort into controlling their body whether they have to progress from the basics or if they have to build some strength, balance and awareness.
Nice! can not wait to try this. so sick :)What kind of flip would you suggest as a first flip to learn?I have been doing some basic parkour for quite awhile now.. but I want to get started in tricking and freeruning. Unfortunately I do not have a gym to go to but I have a bed mattress to practice on... so any suggestions?btw you are one of my biggest inspiration as far as this kind of stuff goes. keep it up :)
I suggest learning the b- kick, Arial, front flip, backflip, sideflip. These were the first flips I learned, the b kick is the easiest but not really a flip, the Arial is easy because you can see the ground the whole time and the front flip what the first flip I learned but it takes forever to land it properly cuz u can't see the ground when landing and the backflip was easy but very scary so I learned the swing back flip first to get over the fear and the side flip I learned a couple days ago but I think it's the easiest flip now
I actually learned my Raiz first before TD Raiz, and I just used it and practiced it a lot which helped build my awareness. But everyone learns differently. Some people cork before they can backflip.
hey kyle when i do my gumbi and touchdown raiz i land on my wrong leg, not my jumping leg (so my bad side for cork ) and i'd like to know if it's better to learn the gumbi and td raiz on my badside or learn to cork the other way ?
how can i place my hand up next to my head to catch the fall of the td raiz? and i if i do my gumbi with my right food that swings and replace my left hand first which side should i chosse for the td raiz ? by the way i do the mukako with my left hand and i cant use my left leg as a swingthrough leg
I'm a beginner trying to get into tricking. I prefer to spin to the right, however It feels natural to kick with my right leg... which doesn't work for right side spinning. What do you recommend me to do, change spin direction or try to get used to kicking with the left leg? (I havn't learned any tricks so I'm asking this before I start practicing)
I've been trying to get td raiz for two years but I just can't do it for some reason. When I watch the videos of me doing it my hand lands to late and I can't go fully backwards. I really need help because I'm really frustrated, I've looked at literally all the tutorials on RUclips and nothing is helping. Please help me!
There won’t be any private lessons available at a gym dude lol. Tricking doesn’t have coaches unless you know someone better than you which also is hard. I’m having trouble doing TDR as well. I recommend mastering your gumbi first. That way your body will know basically exactly what a tdr feels like. Then when you go for tdr I think it will help.
Omg I watched the slow mo and finally figured out why my left leg goes off in its own direction! Thanks I've been trying to figure that out for 6 months
I can't understand how to put my right hand in the start if I turn my hand with mi fingers pointing to the right like you it really hurts me but if I turn my right hand with the fingers pointing to the left I feel no pain
Dearius Nance is day the gumbi is relatively easy to learn. Tdr not so much. I still need to learn gumbi myself but it seems to be just a twisted cartwheel.
I've already made several! Please search my channel before requesting tutorials. So many newcomers miss out on so much knowledge because they don't search through my videos. I have over 100 tutorials on my channel, there's bound to be something you can learn! =)
excuse me, I would like to point out something.... all throughout 1.25 till around 1.30ish and also at 1.44-1.55 the position of your right hand is fingers pointing out away from your body but when you are actually doing it at around 1.57 the direction of your hand is actually different and more towards the side. when I tried doing this at first I paused at the 1.25 scene n copied d placement of the hands and couldn't do it. but when I finally realized and shifted the direction of my right hand it became so much easier. I'm not complaining or anything but maybe next time you shouldn't forget to mention something like that? or maybe you did I just missed it?
if you can cork dleg then you can box. do a cork dleg but keep the kick chambered. this makes you spot your target. from their move into a step over hook. it's a very easy trick

👍👍 keep trying man u can do it
Touchdown Raiz, thats what it was called. I always knew what it looked like, but didn't know what it was called.
14supersonic and myslef
14supersonic me2
Same
Definitely gonna start calling it a “Tiddy Raiz” starting today xD
Great tutorial !
I’m relearning this from the ground up since I originally learned my Raiz as a Tornado Kick leaning back - but it never really turned into an inversion so here I am xD
Personally, I think your tutorials are the most helpful out there!
Watching that back bend exercise made me really understand gumbi! THANK YOU!
YESS!! Finally you upload a gumbi and Tdr tutorial! And you did both of them in one! xD thanks I'm going to drill these until I get them perfect
Good 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
thank you Kyle I've watched this tutorial over and over and now I finally got it
OMG your whole chanel is soooo helpful! Thank you for teaching me flips!
Loving these tutorials. Thanks Epic.

Hi
I added a kick to touchdown raiz and I kicked a guy in the head cause he hit my girlfriend... They took me to juvenile detention
+Nathan Drake Lolz
+Chill.love.oreos anyone smell that,bullshit
Nice coaching! very genuine.

it looks so clean and cool
I actually was practicing gumbi while watching this video and it really helped me!!! thank you!
I'm a beginner and I did the touchdown raiz less than 5 minutes. good tutorial :D
LaVie EnRose don't think so mate, it's a difficult move so by saying that your not impressing anyone
This was so helpful. I don't know if you made a cheat gainer tutorial but you should!😃

backflip
Alivia Brooks Back flip
Sideflip for me, but I heard Webster for a lot of people.
I personaly learned the frontflip first

Is it okay to do a sort of round-off instead of a cartwheel? I like using the gumbi as a fancy round-off backtuck.
Thank you for all the tricking videos man! Would a raiz be easier to learn than the tdr?
I actually learned my Raiz first before TD Raiz, and I just used it and practiced it a lot which helped build my awareness. But everyone learns differently. Some people cork before they can backflip.
Thanks man. Youve actually met people that could do that?
Yup!
+Kyle EPIC Mendoza some people full be for they learn a back flip
Fantastic tutorial, thank you so much!
Is it possible to do a tutorial on the shuriken and or boxcutter?
hey kyle when i do my gumbi and touchdown raiz i land on my wrong leg, not my jumping leg (so my bad side for cork ) and i'd like to know if it's better to learn the gumbi and td raiz on my badside or learn to cork the other way ?
do you ever feel the need to add in some strength training with weights? some floorwork, rings?
Hi kyle Great video
Can you make a carry through (ct) tutorial from aerial or b kick please
how can i place my hand up next to my head to catch the fall of the td raiz? and i if i do my gumbi with my right food that swings and replace my left hand first which side should i chosse for the td raiz ? by the way i do the mukako with my left hand and i cant use my left leg as a swingthrough leg
@KyleEpicMendoza
Yesss!! Thanks so much been waiting forever :))
do u need to be flexible for a gumbi/td raiz or not?
I'm a beginner trying to get into tricking. I prefer to spin to the right, however It feels natural to kick with my right leg... which doesn't work for right side spinning. What do you recommend me to do, change spin direction or try to get used to kicking with the left leg? (I havn't learned any tricks so I'm asking this before I start practicing)
John Edward Try to learn your left leg
Like he said. It’s much easier to learn how to kick with the opposite leg than it is to spin to your opposite side.
I love this tutorial!!!!! (: Thank you
are u going to do America Ninja Warriors again mendoza
I don't understand what leg should be my back leg and which hand to put first in the Gumbi.
I do a cartwheel to the right side.
Help please?
If you twist to the left, you put down your right hand first(gumbi)
I've been trying to get td raiz for two years but I just can't do it for some reason. When I watch the videos of me doing it my hand lands to late and I can't go fully backwards. I really need help because I'm really frustrated, I've looked at literally all the tutorials on RUclips and nothing is helping. Please help me!
Luke go to a tricking gym or gymnastics gym and get some private lessons dude
There won’t be any private lessons available at a gym dude lol. Tricking doesn’t have coaches unless you know someone better than you which also is hard. I’m having trouble doing TDR as well. Omg I watched the slow mo and finally figured out why my left leg goes off in its own direction! Thanks I've been trying to figure that out for 6 months
+Takumifuji86 For the TDR?
yeah, my left leg does all kinds of weird shit
+Takumifuji86 6 months wtf? Took u 6 months to td raiz?
+Takumifuji86 not ment as hate
***** no, just I spent 6 months after I learned it to perfect the move. I'm a bit of a form freak
Smooth moves.... works! thank you
When I do my jump to do a TD Raiz I can't get the lower half of my body (waist down) to come up with me! Any ideas?
you should make more combination videos. They help
thanks it helped me a lot 😊😊
I can't understand how to put my right hand in the start if I turn my hand with mi fingers pointing to the right like you it really hurts me but if I turn my right hand with the fingers pointing to the left I feel no pain
is this good for learning a flick flack?
