Yeah, his pickups are always awesome and he's very easy to deal with when you need something a little more custom. Too bad importing from the UK is such a headache now. Thanks for the compliment 😁
This is gorgeous. If it were mine I would stick some Lego figures, marbles or other little kids toys in it because I am an idiot but it would make me smile.
@@jpjay1584 yes! I bet if you picked the plants well you could absolutely have a “garden in a guitar”. Lichens and mosses and little alpine flowers, staple a substrate into the face of the guitar - create some way to keep the condensation down. So I suppose you are stuck with dessert plants. It could be amazing
@@adamdutton9922 crap, now I kind or have to do it. But maybe design one specifically for that purpose. And maybe I should consult a botanist first because I have no clue about these things
I’ve asked someone but he knows more about mushrooms. Mushrooms would deffinitely work but they’d eat the guitar I think. It would look beautiful while it lasted. I’m ll let you know if I learn anything.
Really glad you decided to just clear coat the edge, back and most of the neck the wood it's self has such a nice color and grain pattern to it. It has turned out to be a very interesting guitar. Well done sir.
Welcome to the club of cutting it close (I definitely didn't work on mine until the last minute ;) Turned out well and is definitely a very unique guitar. (plus you photography game is top-notch, I'm kinda jealous)
That is certainly one unique guitar. Despite the issues with the stain on the neck and with the rain, you managed to build a guitar that looks very good (and in time). Great job!
It's really nice to see someone building something different. I'm a new subscriber, and just starting my first simple Tele build - looking forward to watching your future builds and getting more inspiration.
I really dig that neck, the tuners especially, always wanted an electric with a slotted headstock, I really like em on acoustics, dunno why but I like slotted headstocks a lot . . .
Well done mate. I like how that turned out. You planning on a plugged in demo? I would be interested to hear what effect that clear plastic has on resonance and sustain. I almost think it might create a feed back issue which in a way could be very cool.
I laughed at "should've used a test piece". Can't tell you how many times I've used a test piece, then gone on to do it to my work piece only to have it still look like crap, lol!
The sound is actually quite sweet. I think I positioned the p90 pickup at just the right spot. Not too close to the bridge so it's not too thin sounding. Really happy with my first one-pickup-guitar
Now THAT is what you call a "swimming pool" route...! Beautiful looking guitar!
Thank you! It really wasn't my intention to make a swimming pool themed guitar. But now that she's done the resemblance is undeniable
Definitely a one-of-a-kind creation: the offset framework, the distinctive neck, and the negative space layered body. Well done!
Thank you so much. I appreciate the compliment 🙂
It’s a lovely looking instrument, 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️
Thank you! Always so kind
that was a good sanding compilation 😅😅😅👍
😁
Awesome design!!! 👍👍👍
Thank you!
Sanding scene deserves like & eternal sub
Hahaha. Just wanted to voice my feelings towards sanding in a visual way
I like alchemy pickups too.
This is such a great build.

That *really* is a swimming pool route!
That was definitely not my intention, but now that people point it out, I can't unsee it. The colour doesn't help either
very cool swimming pool guitar
expert wood crafting
Thank you! That was not my intention, but now I can't unsee it anymore
WOW, I´m in aw of this! i love the concept and the look!
Thank you so much

Hahah that sounds like a great plan.

Nice job!
Thanks!!
That looks pretty cool.
Thank you!! Also sounds awesome. Demo coming soon

Yeah, I like keeping at least the back clear so you can still see the wood. Also I love the combination solid colour -> binding-> clear
Love the 'different thinking' on the design
Thank you! I spend a lot of time thinking about these things

Nice work mate!
Thank you!! Glad I'm done. Cut it very close.
Amazing work, thanks Stefano

I love them too. That's why I'm putting them on all my guitars (and ukuleles) these days
Nad thank you for the nice comment
Awesome build man
Thank you so much!
Really dig it, the wiring turned out very clean. Good job.
Cleanest wiring I've ever done
We should meet for a Triple Karmeliet in Le Pantin for good times sake :)
That sounds like a great idea!
you can spray in doors AS LONG as there is ventalattion
They are doing construction on my house and all the windows are taped shut🤨. So ventilation was really not at hand

Yeah, gonna produce a demo for both builds in the next two weeks. Just need a short break after this stressful finish and I'll get on it

That design is screaming for some programmable LED lighting.
Yeah, I was thinking of embedding it into the island under the bridge. But then I thought it might be too much
@@caponemakesstuff maybe for later builds?
@@scottrankin4501 definitely gotta play around with LEDs at some point

Wonder if he’s aware of verbally sliding “Yeah” in about every other sentence. It’s quite awkward, but easily fixed.
Wtf! Why all the effort sanding oiling perfilling the inside only to paint over it? What a waste of beautiful wood!
The back is clear coated so you can still see the beautiful wood. Never used oil, that would be problematic with the nitro finish
Sorry! Don't like the pale blue. Otherwise, awesome concept.
Thank you! Can't please everyone, ey?
@@caponemakesstuff Well, thank you too, Capone, and best of luck in the contest.
Like I said, awesome concept, and I enjoyed watching how you did it.
