Ahha! There is a lot of things that make RaGa great but one thing that stands apart for me is the Bhava or the emotion that they bring to everything that they sing. Whether Abhangs or Kritis like these, the 'feel' is brilliant. Humble pranaams to both 🙏🏽

So, to summarize, this concert featured:
1. Fantastic renditions of keerthanams in Sama, Bhairavi and Hindolam,
2. A breathtaking RTP (Ragam Tanam Pallavi) in an impossibly complex talam, flawlessly and effortlessly executed,
3. A thrilling Grahabhedam from Kalyani to Shuddha Dhanyasi that completely blindsided everyone online, in the audience AND on stage, and
4. This rendition of our beloved Vyasaraya krithi that, somehow, keeps getting better each time RaGa sing it.
At this point all I can say is I'm even running out of hyperbole.

I could somewhat understand the concept, but not the exact meanings of the words.
So ?
The song is in Kannada (one of the five Dravidian languages of the South.) It is about Krishna the young boy
who is into mischief. His mother Yashodha finds some butter missing. Suspecting her young boy might have
stealthily eaten it, she asks Krishna to open his mouth and that is when the boy who is Lord Krishna himself
reveals the entire universe in his mouth! Glad you enjoy the rendition.

I must have heard this song a million times as it's my mother tongue, I grew up listening to these beautiful compositions. But RaGa hats off, you make me question weather I have listened to it at all!! So different and so refreshing. I agree with other commenters, Goosebumps through and through

When such brilliant artists are enthralled in their own singing notwithstanding the audience I can just imagine the original composer 's Guru Vyaasaraya 's joy when he must have written this and being the naughty child that lord Krishna is ,he definitely would have taken a bit of time to appear before Guru Vyaasaraya ji .

Beautiful Yaman! It is such a choice raga especially after the sparkling Vasantha RTP. I actually have an exam later tonight - this lilting masterpiece sung in both voices set the tone for my day and I feel refreshed :) Can't wait to see you both in a few months!!
