I just couldn't stop laughing at your facial expressions throughout the video😂😂😂😂 #classic
They were actually making fun of the catwalk models who thought they were all that and a bag of chips, too sexy to be seen with the regular people. Even too sexy for the sexy people. They were making fun of that whole scene with this song.
True
I wasn’t watching the video, I was watching your face!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣l love this song, they toured Australia on a promo tour and had another song, Deeply Dippy, and they did a version of What A Day For A Daydream, I think it’s called. It was just hilarious. They’re funny, really funny guys. Bless them.🤣🤣🤣🤣
This was back when people had a sense of humor and irony...used in several commercials...
For real. It was in like EVERY 90's/early 2000's movie. This dang song was EVERYWHERE!
It's now in a commercial for Kroger grocery store.
Love your reaction! First time I heard it all the way through. 😅😂🤣😂🤣
You got that right. Back when people had sense of humor.
@Trevon Womack You're the one making comments about race trying to start crap. It's a fucking song from the 90s that was one of the stupidest songs ever made. Damn. Go try that race war crap on someone else. People were just commenting peacefully. Get a life.
I hate that I freaking love this song. It's so....catchy!
For reactors... this is just like getting Rick Rolled... lol. That blank expression for the first two minutes... priceless.
😂😂😂😂
That staring at the camera with the “what the Hell am I listening to?” Look says it all! I said the same thing when it first come out
@@DarianHarder I know, right. I can watch his reaction over and over. I'm glad I made everyone have a good time with that one. I'm glad Ty, took it with a sense of humor.
@@barbaramatthews4735 The only thing worse I can think of is "Tom's Diner".
Your face 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Priceless!!! Its a song making fun of models..lot of fun..lol
Sorry to tell you Ty, this song was HUGE hit-🤷🏼♀️🤣 ☮️💟✌️
Still trying to figure out why. Myself and all of my friends couldn't stomach it
@@andreadeamon6419 i am metalhead and i love this song!
@@BloodMixedWithBeer a friend of mine does also. Massive metalhead himself. Knows all about him - born in the same area
@@andreadeamon6419 well we metalheads have sense of humour this song, aqua's barbie girl and so on, they are fun
@@BloodMixedWithBeer Bet its a blast to mix those up 😁
It is a very catchy funny song. And, of course, we are all too sexy for Corona Virus. Are we not?
Yes we are...you know what I mean, I’m gonna shake my little tuss on the catwalk 😂
I hoe garden every morning in a pair of shorts...yall thought g string.... pure gutter..lol
Your expressions had me rolling in laughter, hilarious Ty. Yep this song was so fun to ice skate to and muck around on the ice.
It got a lot of air time on MTV back in the day.
This was the most tongue in cheek song of its time... oh how we danced and laughed 😂
He owned a gym and was just taking the piss out of the people that worked out and stood in front of the mirror lol
I heard they were at a gym working out, and were poking fun at the narcissists posing for the mirrors. lol
After watching this and with them laughing at the end I’m not surprised at all lol
That's what I heard too!
@MRM - this song was a joke song made to make fun of models but it became a hit.
This song was EVERYWHERE in the early 90s..
Right Said Fred is a One Hit Wonder for this song 🤘🤘🤘
Not in the UK. Don't Talk, Just Kiss and Deeply Dippy were huge as well for them here.
Right Said Fred were typically British, poking fun at themselves foremost.
I arrived in the UK in the autumn of 1991 and all the shops had tshirts with “I’m too sexy” written on it, and I didn’t understand! I soon realised that during that summer, the hit of the season was a song that was a jokey piss take on the beautiful people and had been a massive summertime hit that the Brits had played all through their summer holidays.
The look on your face in the beginning was priceless!!!
This is typical British humor, with a man acting like models on runways (catwalk). It was a big, good natured joke and it was a huge hit.
This song was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1991. LOL
Oh I'm so sorry I missed the premiere of this! Boy we were really full of ourselves back then! Thanks for putting a big smile on my face!
Just back then?
This band had several hits in the uk all were fun nonsense songs. It was when people didn't get offended by everything.
Ty's face is killing me lol. There's no way a 30+ year old has never heard this song, though.
That was in the 90s...
I know the song and I’m 34 years old
It was a great song for a fun dance at the disco. And a great song to help us lower mortals to poke fun at the supermodel culture so huge at the time.
Your face is priceless 😂😂. Love the way this song takes the mickey out of models that all think they are better than everybody else
Your reaction had me crying with laughter! Thank you!!
come on, you know you'll be singing this in the shower tomorrow LOL
🤣
@MRM,YOUR face!!!😂😂😂! I love that song. It's fun and crazy! Oh my your face! Love ya man.
I love watching reactions to this song 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Your face tells it all. I lmao when I first heard this in the late 80s
I forgot this song existed!
I used to wear a Stetson, like Indiana Jones, and would jokingly sing to my friends, "I'm too sexy for my hat, what do you think about that!", in the same tone as the singer.
But, that's the only line I knew accurately. For the rest, I just had the right sound and whatever "almost right" words I could fill in.
You really can fill in whatever you want, and it makes just as much sense.
Watching your face expression while you're listening and watching this video you have me laughing so hard I couldn't stop laughing .. 😆
It originally pokes fun at the catwalk industry, then in turn the catwalk industry made this song their own
That look MRM had on his face at the beginning is priceless, but he came around and had fun with it😂
LMAO right now. My wife used to quote this song. I brought her in to watch and we can't stop laughing. This was actually a hit song for a very short while.
Glad you guys laughed
@@Modern-Renaissance-Man You should do "save a horse, ride a cowboy" by Big and Rich
This is one of those songs you had to be there in the moment it came out. And even then, you either loved it or hated it. Lol!!
Woaw Ty......love youre face 😂😂 yes, thats howe it was.....and I loved it then, now I laf alout, but still loved it ♥️🤣🤣 Ohh I dance alout to this song.....hmm I think he says «I’m to sexy for my self» too omg 😂😂
Your reaction has made my day. hahahaha I remember when this came out. They had a great sense of humour.
This is one of those songs known wide the world over, and heavily quoted when you come across someone who reaks of vanity, or is so far up themselves that ones terrified of going there.
Lol, your facial expressions are seriously cracking me up 😂
Your face at first...🤣🤣🤣 so funny!!
Hi MRM. Thank you so much for this, your reaction was priceless, my wife and I were in hysterics watching your face. Thanks so much for cheering us both up!!!!
I can't believe you finally reacted to that song. LOL
Your facial expressions!!!
I had to check Mr. R. on this Friday night and see what he's listening to, and oh my, the expressions he makes get to me all the time!! I love it! hugs!
Your initial reaction was priceless!
😂
🤣😂🤣😂🤣 BaHaha I remember that Barbara .. that was fun .. Ty ur reactions were priceless! Thnx for the laughs U 2🤘🏼 Rock on Sexy Peeps😉
The best part was when Ty started 'voguing'!😀🤣❤
Loved dancing to this back in the day.
I have a stuffed animal that has a coat on & when you press the button it opens the coat , flashing itself & plays this song 😂😂😂
The look on your face was priceless 😂😂
hahahahahaha! You, and Right Said Fred, have made my night! it's fun being here.
Your facial expressions were priceless.🤣🤣😎
This song was a parody. Not a "Weird Al" style parody, but rather just being satirical and mocking all the very full-of-themselves model and musician types that were starting the "famous for being famous" trend in the early 90s. It is absolutely NOT meant to be taken seriously, just something to have some fun with.
My son was 3 years old when this came out, he used to walk around the house singing it hahaha
LOL! The looks on your face was TOO FUNNY! They played it in bars, as they danced to it. He sounded a bit like Elmer Fudd, "I'm too sexy for my wabbit..."
My son dated a 15 year old model ( really ) when he was 17, and this was her favorite song. Without her model clothes and make-up, she looked like a sweet kid, but when she was on the cat-walk, she looked like a beautiful woman of 25. Really. She went to Japan to participate in a modelling job. So when I hear this song, I think of her. She loved it. 15 going on 35.
This song takes me right back to 1992-93 when I was listening to it all the time!
LOL😂 Yes, this was a one hit wonder type of song. Boy was it played a lot on MTV and radio back in the day!
Hi Ty 👋
Your face was just so classic! Considering when this song was released (1991) it was considered to be very risque in the day and I think my country (South Africa) even banned it for a while. The origin came from when the brothers owned a gym and watched how people would be so egotistical & vain by constantly posing in the mirrors at the gym.
So funny I’ve always Loved it ❤️ your face is so damn funny....gotta 🤣🤣🤣🤣 we need this stress relief right now. Laughter this the best medicine 🤣
Well, that’s 3 minutes of your life you’re not getting back😂
LMAO I loved the Dear in the headlights look.
@4:37 you're exactly right, my man. This song was like the original meme, before memes existed. Always used in a movie montage when the supporting characters are trying to make the main character cool or popular by giving them a makeover. Your face during this was absolutely PRICELESS!
This was worth watching just to see your face lol, could tell you were impressed from the start lol. It was a big hit back in the day :-)
Your expressions were priceless! LOL loved it!
Glad you enjoyed
Your expression is absolutely priceless. Literally LMAO. I play this song to annoy my wife. She despises it. Too funny :-)
They are so tongue in cheek they are hilarious ! I loved them
This was a massive hit song that got played so much on the radio it drove everyone nuts
Your face was priceless !!!! I literally lol
Omg I'm laughing my ass off at your reaction. Priceless
This was a #1 song This is from the same time as "I touch myself" by The Divinyls
Another one that was 🤢
It's all good... love your reaction. It was made to be silly, but it actually became a hit. I think it did better than was expected.
I just wanted to see your reaction, and you delivered. It really was very popular when it was released. Everyone was making something up to sing. "I'm too sexy for _______". Just fill in the blank.
Barbara you definitely picked a perfect one for Ty to react to u sly one😉🤣 Such a fun song that I had forgotten about. Good to see it's still carrying that humor to others. Thnx for the laughs
My mom LOVED when it would come on the radio. As a 13 year old I found it a bit disturbing (as a 41 year old, I still find it a bit disturbing.)🙃
LOL. I remember that. Oh, no doubt Right Said Fred was joking. Just look at his facial expressions.
I haven’t laughed that much in ages. Looking at your face thru this made my day 🤣🤣🤣 brilliant!!
Glad you enjoyed it
MTV, Radio and Clubs were playing this constantly. Great fun
LMAO your facial reaction is priceless!!!
i'm sure if i remember that this song was originally done for comedy? it's a great classic and such catchy tune that you have to keep on playing it
😄😄I remember this song. They played on the radio so much when it came out.
Great to see someone reacting to something other than the same old classics or anthems. Love the catchy tune and the fact that the guys don't take it seriously
This song went #1 in America back in 1992!! Its was just awesome fun & till this day it comes up as a joke when u talking about being sexy. It was also #1 in airplay as well
Love it!!
I didn't know it was popular in America
This was one of those songs that I loved to hate. I was so catchy it gets stuck in your head.
The look on your face!!! 😂😂 💀💀 The 80's were a weird and wonderful time!!! I hope that you have a wonderful and blessed day my friend and please stay safe!!! 🙂🙂 🐧🐧
It's the most fun watching you guys get down watching this. I had the same reaction when it came out; it almost makes you uneasy, but then you have to laugh.
And that was the reaction that most of us had when this first came out.
I love this!! Despite being only 1 years old when this was released, I remember my aunt would dance with me to this song 🤣🤣🤣 ahh such memories hahaha. Loved your voguing (not sure if I spelt that right ) 😁😁 still as funny as ever bro. Stay safe ☺️ ✌🏻
The song is sarcastic --- he's mocking the snobbish high society runway models. It's basically a joke...mocking elitist people and models....lol
Right again Ty, I played musical chairs in Summer Camp to this in 1991
great song-great message. Consider the era and what they are saying. I always loved this song.
I was never a fan of this song but your reaction made it worth it
Great tune. Remember this all to well in the 90s.
I cant breathe. You made me laugh so much. Your face!
The guys in Right Said Fred are brothers. They had a second single off the album Don't Talk Just Kiss, which I personally liked better
Below us the story to the song.
The song “I'm Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred is a self-empowering ode to narcissism. The song's lyrics include the line “I'm too sexy for my shirt, so sexy it hurts”.
The song was inspired by the Fairbrass brothers' experiences running a gym in London, where they noticed a lot of posing and narcissism. Richard Fairbrass came up with the idea for the song when he took his shirt off in front of a mirror and sang “I'm too sexy for my shirt” as a joke.
The song was originally recorded as an indie rock song, but was rejected by several record companies. The band eventually reworked it into a dance track with the help of DJ TommyD and guitarist Rob Manzoli. The song became a hit, reaching number one in several countries and making the Fairbrass brothers household names.
The song's refrain has been interpolated by other artists, including Drake and Beyoncé.
It was a big hit. My dad liked it and he was probably 70 then, because he always thought he was sexy. I liked it too. It's catchy and when played in the club you did your sexy strut. It was fun.
Hahaaaaa I love it and true you do start to strut your sexy stuff lol
It hit number 1 in the UK and Europe. It was a piss take out super model. They were big and had lots of hits
Thank you Barbara!
right said fred are from australia.
and here is a super obscure fact about this song:
the instrumental break of this song grabs a riff from the jimi hendrix song, 3rd stone from the sun. from the 1st album.
one of jimi's least played and yet most greatly loved by his fans and esp. guitar players.
this funky and yet fully silly terrestrial song about models on the catwalk makes reference to one of the coolest, spaciest hendrix songs ever.
"there will never be surf music again."
keep them coming.
if you really want to fly sideways, tryout some music by snakefinger, a guitarist and songwriter.
@scoobyclub dang. not sure why i thought they were australian. none the less, that riff is from hendrix and that is the poinst of my comment. thanks for the correction.
Your vogue skills are impressive. :)
Agreed having you been practicing Ty 🤔🤔🤔😁
Your reaction is hilarious. The song was a huge hit back in the day
The joys of one hit wonders in the 90s!
Right said fred is most confident person on planet
This was huge. I admit that I danced to it back in the day.
