I’m now 78, gave up smoking at 32, gave up sugar at 60, don’t eat between meals, eat smaller healthy balanced meals, my wife and I go dancing three time a week, I am 3 stone lighter than 20 years ago and have a good quality of life. If you look after yourself you will live a better quality of life for much longer. Keep active. Martin it looks like you have had a wake up call and are on the right track. Keep on it, as Dell boy would say, “you know it makes sense”.

Hi Martin and Sharon. Here I am again with hopefully some positive as I always try and do because your videos are a joy for Ray and me. You invite us into your family and family way of life, you take us with you on your travels and we are so thankful. My husband Ray was diagnosed with prostate cancer last August after 3 Cruises and an absolute bombardment of rubbish food and sugar despite my best efforts of trying to convince him otherwise. He has come through his therapy and the result is 0.03 psa. Since this result and watching and listening to you he finally agrees with what I have been saying over the past 2yrs that sugar and carbs are a killer. We know exactly where you are coming from Martin and congratulate you on your strength and determination since Christmas. I really want to say please don’t let some of the comments make you low or think you are doing anything wrong the proof is seeing you looking so well. If people do not agree with how you are eating then they really do not have to watch do they. We don’t know you but we love you both very much, God bless and keep up the good work to stay healthy. xx❤

I have learned that sugar has no food value whatsoever and in fact is the cause of a lot of disease such as type 2 diabetes, dementia, Parkinsons, and gut problems after doing a lot of research on the internet. I am so pleased that you are reversing your health problems with diet alone, cutting out sugar and carbs. I too have cut out sugar after one year and the result is tremendous. I no longer crave sugary drinks, sweets , chocolate etc. Have lost one and half stone and have so much more energy and less aches and pains. You are a great inspiration on this channel, to encourage people to make a life time choice to be fit and healthy. The sugar industry is making people sick and the media/ advertising, needs to stop encouraging all this garbage processed food and , get on board to stop putting the NHS in in crisis, which cannot sustain the cost of ill health in this country. Love this channel and how you both are authentic and real and just put it out there what a lot of us are already thinking. I envy your relationship together, so lovely to see.

What a revelation, I’ve just had my dinner (it’s a Northern thing). Went to Tesco bought sardines in brine, mackerel in spring water, mashed them together, to be honest I thought the mackerel would be oily and smelly but no it wasn’t, added chopped lettuce, chopped red onion, chopped red pepper, tomato, and added fat free vinaigrette dressing… absolutely fantastic. I have Parkinson's, CKD, an impaired heart, have had open heart surgery, cancer twice - have gone from being diabetic to being pre diabetic - been unable to exercise because of Parkinson's, can t. Do keto because of CKD - BUT, am now fasting for 20 hours a day instead of twice a week! I've lost a stone - still eating things probably not good for me but I'm honestly not craving food by fasting. God alone knows if its actually doing me any good but I feel better for getting rid of some weight! Good on you martin! I'm carrying on regardless and hope you do the same! 🙆

I've done very similar to you over the past 6 months, was diagnosed with prediabetes, so cut out lots of carbs, eye opening stuff when you research it! I recently discovered Gullon sugar free biscuits which means I can still have a little treat without spiking my blood sugar ( I use a BS monitor to test all foods I have) found sugar free chocolate recently as well, avoid white bread as this is very high in carbs, have No sugar added wholemeal bread, White rice is a definite no no, as is pasta, both send my BS sky high ! Trouble with anything white is there is no fibre to counter the carbs, so always go for wholemeal or similar, Warberton's do a No Sugar added wholemeal bread, which I can have with no problems, and if you freeze it this reduces the effects even more, freezing changes the molecules or something like that, as does toasting bread ! I also learnt that if you divide the Carbs by the amount of fibre in the contents then this can help as well, my target is less than 10-1 (Carbs-Fibre) 5-1 is the target, anything over 10-1 forget it !

Well done Martin congratulations on improving your health simply changing your diet and sharing your amazing results with your viewers. I may be mistaken but it’s a pity Sharon doesn’t join you she may not have the diabetes problem but would benefit in many other ways and help you on your journey to good health. My husband and I have been keto/low carb for about 3 years now and the benefits are immense and feel sorry for the critics as they have absolutely no idea how much better they will feel and look. Keep going Martin look forward to following your progress. We started this in the Covid lock down and have not looked back.

I've been carnivore about 3 months now and your carnivore video came up in my recommended list. Nice to meet you and I'm happy to hear you are feeling better now, me too, more energy, motivated, happier mood, losing weight. Keep it up, looks like you have a carnivore channel now.

Excellent Martin, keep up your great work. I've saved this video so I can show it to my husband. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2019 which had mastastizised to bone cancer which led to major spinal surgery. I'm trying to educate him and feeding him healthier green food, meat and less carbs. Weight wise he's a way to go because of hormone therapy but we'll get there. Thank you for your video 😊❤

I think you have done so well Martin, I think everyone has to do what is right for them. I learn so much from both of you. I love canned fish, kippers, sardines, salmon, shrimp or tuna in salads,or mixed with mayo and spread on celery.

Hi Martin and Sharon, I have been watching for sometime now, and have enjoyed all of your ventures. I try not to make comments about things that I know little about... but do believe we all know our own bodies and can work out what helps or hinders. So glad you are feeling better and I'm certain it has taken a lot of worry off Sharon's shoulders. As a family I wish all of you the best. Toni. x

By following a no carb diet for a year now, I've gone from 117kgs down to 90.3kgs. I've not always lost weight, but I've lost more than I've ever put on since changing my eating habits. I do have cheat days on special occasions. I've gone from a size 26 to a size 20. Thank you for your channel as it is what made the light switch then on for me. Keep doing what you're doing. I love your channel. I also was type 2 diabetic and had high blood pressure. I've gone off all my medications because of this change.

Hi Martin and Sharon, I’ve been watching your videos for a while but not commented before. I just wanted to say well done on your results so far, Martin, that’s brilliant! I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis 30 years ago and was put on a shedload of medication that made me feel even worse, so researched and went on what would be called a keto diet now. As a result I was able to ditch the pills and felt so much better. I still had plenty of people telling me how wrong and dangerous it was for my health but I ignored them, just as you have done. You know what works best for your body , no one else. You both look amazing with your new way of eating and I’ll look forward to following your journey.
All the best to you both from a fellow Sharon!

So glad you guys are highlighting PSA testing and prostate problems. . My hubby had no symptoms, he then developed back pain . After 18 months going back and forth to the gp with various different diagnoses . He then had a PSA test that for his age should have been between 3/4 sadly his came back at 13000. This is one of the highest recorded, so he was terminal at diagnosis he survived 5 years . Go get tested guys and keep monitoring your PSA

Thank you for this video. Pleased that at last you are on the right track for a healthy life. So much makes sense to me the greens that bloat is one I suffered for many years. Diet in healthy eating IS the way to control so many of the bodies ills. I have fought off the drs & hospital medies that made me so ill & replaced with Omega 3 Pitted prunes plus vitamins D B & C. Magnesium Zinc . I now feel MORE myself & in control. I cook in butter plus use the Air Fryer . I have followed your very informative videos. I have laughed WITH you on your days out . 👍

So pleased to know you are doing well on keto. I’ve been carnivore for about a year and love it. However I couldn’t stop the cream cakes and chocolate.
So I made the decision to stop all sweet foods on 1/1/24 and I’m doing great.
No regrets. No desiring a chocolate bar. Friends are astonished I don’t eat their homemade cakes.
It’s a no thank you I choose not to eat them. Keep up the good work. X
