Minano town, Saitama Prefecture.
I visited the ruins of an old folk house that has lost its owner, quietly situated upstream from a waterfall.
There are many fine old folk houses scattered around, but it seems that many of them are ruins.
I spoke to an elderly man I met, who told me that half of the houses in the village are vacant.
The village has many small paths that only one person can pass through.
I was excited to see where the paths led.
