It's ok, because is what Greeks want to send! This song means a lot, only humans with soul and people ful of history, memories can understand. This year we don't mind about the position... To represent us a song like this, is a win!

"but I don't want to party to this song....". Well, who cares what you want?? This song talks about the uprooting of the Pontian Greeks from their motherland by the turks, how they struggled and maintained their culture. So, thank God it's NOT a party song by some idiot who can only swing her butt around.... The song is deserving of Greece's long history and represents the country honourably in a multinational contest. You see, not everyone wants to be a clown.
Chill a bit bro! I understand your point and won't disagree. Not everything needs to be a party song. And most of my all time favourite Eurovision entries are artworks that made me feel much bigger stuff than shake party. But please try to honour the culture you mention by being kind to people. It's not particularly civilized to attack and offend someone just because your tastes differ. Our Klavdia will need better staging to spread her vibe. And if it still fails to touch people, it's not people's fault. Asteromata is not for everyone and that's part of its identity.

Γαλλία: πέρυσι, ο τραγουδιστής για να δείξει την δύναμη της φωνής του, έκανε κάτι διαφορετικό: τραγούδαγε κάτι μέτρα πέρα από το μικρόφωνο. Το Voilà απ΄την άλλη είχε πολλά κοντινά στην τραγουδίστρια, ασπρόμαυρο κάποια στιγμή για να μοιάζει σαν βουβός κινηματογράφος και η τραγουδίστρια είχε ντυθεί δραματικά, σαν την Edith Piaf.
Όλα είχαν τραγούδι με όχι πολλή κίνηση, αλλά βρίσκανε κάτι να τα κάνει ξεχωριστά. Η Κλαυδια να είναι στο κέντρο της σκηνής σχετικά μόνη, μιας και οι χορεύτριες δεν κάνανε πολλά δείχνει ότι δεν σκεφτήκανε τι μπορούν για να κάνουν το τραγούδι ελκυστικό εμφανισιακά. Τουλάχιστον να βάλουν τις χορεύτριες να κάνουν κύκλο γύρω από την Κλαυδια και να δώσουν τα χέρια πρωτού ξεκινήσει να τραγουδάει, να πούμε ότι έκαναν κάτι από σκηνική παρουσία.Το λέω ως άτομο που ψήφισε Κλαυδια και το τραγούδι της είναι το αγαπημένο μου ( χθες το είπε άψογα, φωνητικά έσκισε).
@@SuperSelina1993 Οκ αυτό αλλά αναγνωρίζω ότι ο Φωκάς είχε να στήσει 12 διαφορετικά τραγούδια σε 3 εβδομάδες αν δεν κάνω λάθος και με μικρό κόστος οπότε τι να κάνει δεν είναι μάγος, τώρα μπορεί να δουλέψει περισσότερο στο στήσιμο και να έχει κάτι καλό

Well said 👏🏻 Finally a song that speaks to the depth of our history. All in, we have a lot to talk to the world about, and feel together. Tired of the butt-shaking songs.
We Greeks wanted to send this one in our language. No maater what the placement will be. This is our history and our culture . No matter the place.

I don’t understand every year what exactly you all want to see from Greece. Opa, souvlaki, and bouzouki? Greece has many beautiful types of music and a very beautiful language. The song talks about refugeeism, something that Greeks have experienced. It’s a very beautiful Greek song that simply had to win.

@@georgiatr7411 It seems that way, when they see something western like they say oh it doesn't remind me of Greece meaning Sadorini,Zormpas etc. but when get actually Greek like now they say I don't get it it's too greek for me, like wtf, you only want silly pop in English not greek with a smear of greekness in instrumentation like lyra,mpouzouki etc

In general, I believe that all of Europe is stuck on stereotypes, like the idea that we break plates, while forgetting the immense history we have. Mythology, wars we’ve resisted, arts, and much more.
When you win with your vocals, even the one who tried to destroy you with this staging, this means a lot

What are you expecting from Greece to send , only happy dancing songs because you have a stereotypical image of Greece as summer vacations in Kyklades and people breaking plates, Greece is not only this but also a nation that's been through hell and this is a lamenting song( moiroloï) for the lost homes of Greeks in Pontos because she is of Pontiak origin herself and other places in Anatolia and you want her dancing to a song like that ? This is a song that speaks to the psyche of Greeks so we're proud that actually we'll be sending a song that really represents the hellenic nation and not some silly mish mash that wants to be foreign and local that we usually send . It's my second best from whatever Greece has ever sent after Alcohol is free

She is perfect vocally. The staging will not be that at all. The juries will vote her and with a good act she can hit top 10

we voted for this song because it telling the history of pontic greeks and also its a song about migration and the filling of someone losing his land were he/she was born
It was the most greek song that talked to our hearts that we could send. Evangelia reminds us a football song and also it is found to be a copy. I hope they will have better visuals that day. Go klavdia!!!

Haha guys you look so disappointed..but I get your point. You were expecting a wow factor from the Greek entry and you are right about that. I like the song myself but the staging was so off that makes you forget it. I am hopeful that this will change until Eurovision..hopefull and will see...if it doesn't do well..its ok..at least its a quality song with good vocals

Klavdia, Barbz and Xannova had the best live vocals out of all the 12 entries. Barbz had the best staging.
Happy Klavdia won but she will need a awesome staging for the main stage cause the vocals alone won't bring her to the finals if the other countries deliver vocally aswell.

Well, the French entry last year was the best song ever, although he did not win. He did not have staging, ALL he had was his incredible voice. Likewise here. Maybe she will lose to some stupid song that pushes the EU agenda, like last year, but hers is one of the best songs and interpretations. After all, most of the time, the best song does NOT win at the Eurovision contest, it's a whole other game, not one about artistic quality,

I do not believe much in the stage thing but to what the artist is capable delivering to the story behind the song they sing, she is the hottest 🔥 so far with this song.❤❤❤❤❤
With a good presentation,this song can be top 10 easily,I have it on 7th,her vocals are flawless,but the presentation is bad,dress,choreo,everything was bad,they almost ruined her performance,but it has lots of potential,and its an emotional Greek song,so yeah thats it also
MY poersonal favorite was Barbz, Klavdia has a strong voice that can be good on stage, the staging will or hopefully SHOULD be something completely different than this. They mainly focuses on the vocal performance here clearly.
To me Barbz or Evangelia had a higher floor but Klavdia (if the staging and vocals deliver) might have a higher ceiling,

@@soniap1217 Eurovision is way past the point of being just a singing contest, a good song and a talented artist are not enough these days. People tend to expect a wow factor from staging, costumes, choreo, lighting, etc... if you dont have these things you might not even be able to qualify. A good act incorporates everything and then some to ever have a chance to win. Its the sad truth.
