My personal opinion on this Death Battle is that, no matter how you look at it, from a purely canon perspective, it’s close. Super close. Both have extremely powerful and plentiful army’s, a bunch of reality warping relics, and feats such as breaking the universe and beyond. This Death Battle could realistically go either way, it all depends on circumstance and location. Because as MØro (the animator) showed in a funny skit, Eggman could’ve just fired the Death Egg immediately and he would win. Of course, in an alternate scenario where Bowser is on the attack, he could just destroy the planter through a back hole and cripple Eggman, giving him the win. So really it all comes down to circumstance. One thing I will say is to not take the animation so seriously, especially in this type of battle. In a one on one, it’s easier to display the fighters full ability’s. In an army battle, it’s impossible to show everything in a way that doesn’t make it boring, so the animation goes for funny, epic, and awesome moments. Don’t take it so seriously
Infinites quote of "Stronger than Any Foe from Sonics Past" Is seriously nothing more than mere Advertising Jumbo since that was NOT Said in Game, but rather in Promos and such. Not to mention, theres No Actual feat that proves thats true, and no, Him beating Sonic once doesn't count.

To settle up the stuff with Infinite, he was increasing the force of gravity on Bowser’s army. Bowser’s occupied with using his magic to keep more of his troops from biting the big one. King Boo can float, and manipulate space in some form or another, and a thwomp is a big, heavy spiked slab of rock. I don’t have the scientific equation on hand, but Infinite has been outwitted before, and if he wasn’t paying attention to the only enemy not affected by his attack, that was his own fault.

Sure Bowser managed to conquer the Mario universe in super Mario Galaxy but Tails stated in Sonic Generations. If Eggman kept using the time eater he threatened an entire Sonic multiverse of timelines. Matter of fact the time eater was also able to bring back pieces of the timeline that were erased from existence that being Sonic 06

- They DID bring those up in the analysis, and black pop-ups appearing on the up-right corner. And yes, Eggman DOES have those things he could use against Bowser, but the turtle-dragon could counter and/or surpass with his very own items and McGuffins (Power/Grand Stars, Star Rod, Wonder Flower, Dream Stone, Pure Hearts, etc.)
- Mecha Sonic Mk. II (the one who faced Sonic and Knuckles separately) has long discarded his loyalty to the Eggman Empire, and became the protector of the Scrapnik Island. So, he wouldn't have any interest in joining Eggman again.
And even if he did, and could turn into Super Mecha Sonic, not only would be weaker than most Eggman's current and strongest robots (including Metal Sonic, who has become MUCH stronger, despite Mecha being created AFTER him), but his Super form barely last a minute, something that got him folded by a base Classic Knuckles. So yeah.
- And, pffft... Seriously? E-123 OMEGA, joining EGGMAN? The ONE robot has absolutely HATES the doctor's guts more than even Sonic himself, that would try to gun him down on sight the moment he tries to approach him? Hell, IF he was there, I wouldn't even be surprised if he cheered for Bowser killing Eggman.

- Mecha Sonic is weaker than Metal Sonic and he's long abandoned Eggman as per IDW's Scrapnik Island arc
- Omega? Seriously? His entire thing is hating Eggman and wanting to destroy him and His robots, doesn't make sense for him to be on Eggman's Side
- They did mention the jeweled scepter in Eggman's arsenal, they Even brought up the Egg Wizard during Eggman's Breakdown, You did not watch the video
- Super Emeralds are not usable since 3&K, they're currently residing in a different dimension and Eggman's has never Even used them
