Even if they lose this series, yes, itd be a terrible upset, but id still be decently impressed by this young pacers team. Aslong as siakam resigns (and all indicators say he will) then next year could be more defined by this playoff experience.

They've lost to bad teams and rose up against better teams & went ahead and dropped the ball against a crippled bucks team lead by the unstoppable Middleton lol
Next year I think they have a chance to shape up the roster and figure out what works woth a team that doesn't include a trade part-way through. Our last 2 drafts have been OUTSTANDING to say the least. Mathurin, nehmbard, Walker, sheppard, and even Tsheibwe are all some super promising young guys. They can either become starters of fill out a talented bench for years to come. The future is bright.
I always said pacers in 6 or 7 anyways, so let's hope for a bad ass win at home for game 6 !

I get that closing out a 7 game series on the road when you're up 3-1 is difficult, but you have to be much better prepared mentally and physically to compete and give yourselves a chance to win. The Pacers did not do that this game. They had to know the Bucks, on their home court, would come out swinging. Instead of matching the Bucks' intensity and playing like this was a "must win" situation, they allowed the Bucks to embrace that mentality. So, now instead of putting this team away WITHOUT Gainnis and WITHOUT Lillard, the Pacers will very likely face one of them (probably Gainnis) when a win last night would have avoided the possibility all together.
I'm not going to say the Pacers blew their chance to win this series, but the definitely didn't do themselves any favora.

This series show obvious: Nesmith can not guard KM, he is too small; Pascal can not bang with BP he is too small, he needs to move to SF and guard KM will be much easier; insert either Jalen Smith or Isiah J to bang with BP and get rebounds. I would insert Sheppard on starting 2 position and bring Nesmith from bench.

Pascal Siakam is overrated.. You should have traded for OG and put your trust and development in Obi, who's already a better player imo.. Smdh.. Other than dancing for a midrange post shot and slowing down the game. I see a lot of missed shots and not getting out in transition now.. Obi does more with less minutes lmao... We were a better team before the trades.. Bs really ticks me off.. Gave Buddy away for nothing. I'd rather played it out.. Played Walker a lot of the SF minutes after All-Star. Who know's if he could have helped guard Middleton. I'd threw everyone at him. McConnell killed us too.. Not playing like himself. Left guy's open. I'd done everything I could have done to have gotten OG.. Outside Mathurin and Obi.. I'd made a trade. Not one game has Pascal been playing like a Star level player against a Bucks team without Giannis... He can't even handle Bobby Portis. We paying him a max??? Lol.... I'm very disappointed.
