Awesome, you went right before I did. I sailed on the Sunsine May 19-24. We also had cruise director James Love. So full of energy. Sunshine is one of my favorite ships because its not too big and overcrowded. I personally like less people, so Sunshine offers a lot of stuff for its size without having to deal with too large of a crowd!
Is RUclips malfunctioning again? I feel like I haven’t been getting notifications from your channel. Not sure how many cruises you’ve been on. Have always had a fondness for Carnival…as I’m sure you know. Hope soon to go on the Carnival Radiance sooner than not to experience the former(?) Victory Class. Been aboard Fantasy Class and Spirit Class. Time for Destiny/Victory Class. Didn’t realize there was so much history in Charleston. The north-end colonies I tend to think of as having the most history for some surely subconscious reason. This vlog (which is cool to see since you haven’t done any for a long time) brings back memories for me of my visit aboard the Elation 2009 in San Diego. Always exciting, however vicarious, to experience sailing day. And yes!!! MODERN Cruise ships are TWICE the size, and yet the decks are somehow more cluttered and less sleek and ocean-view friendly. Crazy how level Charleston is compared to even this “older” ship’s otherwise towering profile. Love the last of the “Carnival Blvd” promenade still remaining on the Victory Class ships. Lot of yellow. Hope that has been there since ‘96 and it wasn’t a recent choice. Since ‘96 says retro cool. Recently done says Margaritaville wanna-be. That secret forward deck is the most. Never seen it featured on any other vlog. Maybe because it’s so secret. Neither the lifeboat deck!!! People are missing out. Hardly anyone bothers with the unique, undermined qualities and locations of the ship itself, especially if it’s a Carnival ship. We need more true ship aficionados to vlog their cruise experience. Great. Now I need a cruise. Thanks a lot! Better get this credit card debt paid off proper pronto. Look forward to part 2.
only 2 cruises, this one included. Charleston dose have a lot of history and even has the first submarine! i intend to go back. also if you go on the radiance make Shure to find its secrete decks! should be the same deck number
Hi ocean it’s SCP , citizen of Calgary ( Discord Friend ) I’ve not seen the airport in 2 years and I’ve not gone to the airport for 5. I completely forgot about the buses in the airport. Well then , I hope you enjoyed the short trip to Calgary and enjoyed the trip on the Carnival Sunshine!
I live in Charleston and have been on the Sunshine twice. The Port here isn't the best for sure. This is the last year for cruising out of Charleston 🙄
