I just love watching ppl drift this car because it reminds me of the old gta games. I have not been a car person till this update and I started getting into cars
I’ve been looking for this info. I’ve noticed that if you are braking while sliding into a corner the rears lock up like you’re on handbrake. Only have the rx7 for reference at the moment. But 100% the big problem with these new cars is the steer angle. They’d drift way better with more angle.

i does back when we still have to shoot our tires to stance it, if you use armor it will make the car hard to damage and a little heavier hehe but now gta provided to have a low grip tires so nothing will change ehhe
You Sir, have my attention. I've seen too many "drift" videos where the driver just holds the brakes and rapidly pulls the hand brake while going 5mph around a corner... Even after the tuners update. Drifting is about throttle management and transferring momentum, a real driver doesn't relay on the hand brake to initiate a drift. The hand brake is a tool in your tool box but you don't use a hammer when you need a screw driver.

3:23 that would make sense but in this game any spoiler different from default will add the same amount of traction. So even if it says remove spoiler it is adding traction. Rockstar logic
Great set up I just had to tweaked the set up a little bit I kept spinning out so I added the short lip spoiler and engine tune at level 3 I have street wheels the Endo v.4 dished painted frost white and its my perfect setup great at full throttle drifts 🔥
@@ntns_media You're right, the strut brace holds the front end mounts better, thus giving the wheels in the front both more stability and ground time when pushing the vehicle.
Kills me every time, I love a good spoiler delete but not if it's gonna create more downforce on a low grip setup. Fortunately it's not really an issue for the drift tuning cars! 😁
Yeah man, unfortunately the drift tuning removes the stance option. This build was done on the tuners update long before the drift tuning came out, but I do wish we could stance the drift cars!

@@charlesl7385 If you look on the iFruit app, you can actually see the weight being added when you add armor. It's actually debatable whether or not it effects accel and top speed(some cars seem to be effected while others don't kind of thing)but it definitely effects the handling.
Nice build. You have some real potential when it comes to drifting too. When you get a little more confident and start hitting those corners with more speed and angle its gonna be quite the show.
@@ntns_media The s2k is my baby too. I rock mine with normal tires and full engine upgrades. When you learn to initiate your flick with the double clutch and and push full throttle through your drifts that car can do anything. I really think you should drop the half throttle stuff and start working on going fast. You have great control. Now its time to push it to the limits.
Is anyone else’s low grip tires keep being removed when you switch lobbies? I keep having to pay $500 for them which is not a lot and I may get some rep for changing the tires on my car but if this keeps happening then yeah $500 is a lot because that $500 adds up. Plus it just annoying having to go to the LS meet every time just to buy the low grip tires again. Thank you and sick build.

I just started drifting when this update came out and started to use low grip tires recently. You should use your handbrake but not as much as you would normally. Also be sensitive with your trigger, you’ll spin out less. I watched a few drifting tutorials and even some real life drifting to get a better grasp on what I need to do. Keep practicing and watching videos and you’ll get the hang of it.
Engine 2 allows the car to stay at max rpms for longest, which is best for drifting! Higher power tunes were either spinning the car around, or they would shift too early and grip up. this was the right mix to keep the car sliding for the longest amount of time possible. hope this helps!!
In short, you can use the handbrake to essentially act like a downshift or "clutch kick" as its been called in the gta community. If you tap it at the right times, it will reset your engine rpms and act as a speed boost. This is a necessary tool when drifting because it'll allow you to extend drifts longer 😁
I've heard the s2k is dope on regular tires too! My biggest tip would be to let off the throttle and let the car "float" as much as you can. If you spin out, it almost always means too much gas. You can also try lowering your ems lvl by 1 or 2. Best of luck!

why do u prefer engine tune lvl 2 but not the lvl 3 or 4?
Higher engine tunes were either spinning the car out or causing the transmission to shift/bog. 2 seemed to be the right balance for elongated drifts 😁

RX-7 next? That car really handles like shit but I've been able to drift with it, it's just very hard.
Yoo I actually took a friend's rx7 yesterday and was able to slide somewhat decently! It has a strange front end, but definitely possible 🤔😁
