Honestly I loved this series and hope we get a season 2. This series really fixed some of the logic and plot holes the anime and live action movies had. For instance they show what happens when a parasyte takes over someone in a public place and how brutal that could be.
The story is more like Ajin than Parasite
There wasn't exactly a Peter Parker Spidey protagonist everywhere though.

@@senatorarmstrong1233 i read a synopsis on it. shinjis started a few months ahead bc by the time of hers they alr knew of the parasites b how to find then but shinichi is shown at the end ep n its speculated to be right after that incident w the serial killer dude. so maybe few months in between of the difference
