A significant portion of the blame also lies with North’s parents. This screams Kim’s vanity. They embarrassed their child by putting her in a production she was not ready for, just to say she did it. And no one was proud of that performance except maybe them. People paid good money to see it and were cheated. Other far more talented and REHEARSED children lost out because of nepotism. I don’t actually have a problem with using your family name to get your foot in the door, as long as you have the skills/talent to stand on once you’re in the door. But this right here is exactly why most folks don’t like nepotism. They used the family name to get her in even though she isn’t good enough, at least right now. This was nothing but vanity, and an opportunity taken from other deserving children.

Beyonce didn’t hold auditions for the part and Blue Ivy had to rehearse really hard and still had to earn the right to be there where as North’s mother used her fame and money to get her the role of Simba. You're quite right. It's not her fault for being put in that situation. Yes, I do complain about the fact that she couldn't hold a key or note, and she sounded flat throughout the whole performance. But it was the adults who could have (and definitely should have) put someone else to sing this beloved song.
I agree it's on the parents and the higher ups in the organization who said Yes, but at the same time, we have to call a spade a spade. Her performance was not at the expected standard, and lacked the training and SKILL. It was badly sang. The outcome is the outcome. And absolutely, the opportunity for the right kid to get the role was robbed from them.
Ok so here's what I think. I think that Kim purposely got North this role so that she could publicly embarrass her on purpose. Some kind of humiliation ritual that North wasn't in on, or it was on purpose to get her back for all the times she's disrespectful to Kim.

You're quite right. It's not her fault for being put in that situation. Yes, I do complain about the fact that she couldn't hold a key or note, and she sounded flat throughout the whole performance. But it was the adults who could have (and definitely should have) put someone else to sing this beloved song.
I agree it's on the parents and the higher ups in the organization who said Yes, but at the same time, we have to call a spade a spade. Her performance was not at the expected standard, and lacked the training and SKILL. It was badly sang. The outcome is the outcome.
And absolutely, the opportunity for the right kid to get the role was robbed from them.
Maybe if she gets dragged than next time she will say no. This madness has to 🛑

Ok so here's what I think. I think that Kim purposely got North this role so that she could publicly embarrass her on purpose. Some kind of humiliation ritual that North wasn't in on, or it was on purpose to get her back for all the times she's disrespectful to Kim.
If anything, it draws more attention to this show. Most people didn’t hear about this show or even planned to watch it. It’s the bloopers that got everyone’s attention. 😂

Not only is the performance disappointing what really is upsetting to me is that these kids who have been trained in theater and work really hard at crafting their skill The hours that are put in by their parents in cars and traveling to additions only to be taken out by Someone with a lot of money and no training. I hope everybody that attended this performance gets their money back it's really pathetic I'm not coming down on Northwest. If anything I'm coming down on the company who Let her perform.

Sadly this was awful!!!! I don’t know about her Being nervous… North got no talent with the Kanye confidence. Nobody is bullying her, this is an absolutely valid criticism. That family loves attention so much they will put their kid in unnecessary drama. You know Kim knew her girl couldn’t sing, that’s why she only posted her pictures from the show and not the videos. If they want her to be a singer at least get her vocal lessons, teach her even if they get her the part she needs to practice everyday. Everything about this situation was terrible

This looked to be a rushed performance! And by at the very last minute! You could see that they should have worked with the performance instead of rushing with it!
