When he says the Sea to Kumasi, what he means is dredging the Volta to be used like the Mississippi River that goes from Gulf of Mexico to Canada. A person can have all the academic suffixes and acronyms to their name and be fit for nothing beyond academia. A person could have as many degrees and might have memorized tomes of books, but have no real material accomplishments. Instead of being fixated on how well or otherwise a person did academically, let’s focus on their proven capabilities and how they developed that unique ability. Note that the pathways to developing productive capabilities are limited or restricted to academics.

A person can have all the academic suffixes and acronyms to their name and be fit for nothing beyond academia. A person could have as many degrees and might have memorized tomes of books, but have no real material accomplishments.
Instead of being fixated on how well or otherwise a person did academically, let’s focus on their proven capabilities and how they developed that unique ability. Note that the pathways to developing productive capabilities are limited or restricted to academics.
