Saw them on blood tour in Oakland and ( sorry kids ) it was the best night of my life! Only wished they played more than one hour, I needed a 3-4 hour show

when i first listened heard AFI i was into other shit like rap and what not but something about them just grabbed my attention. since then ive gotten into fucken metal u know thrash and death but i still fuckin love all their work...the thing about AFI is that they started out as a pretty raw band but over the years they grew musically and intellectually...fucken dont get any better than that!

i think that since 2004 davey had to change the way taht he screamed cause he was having voice problems and that is the reason they disapeared from the scene late during the sing the sorrow tour in march 2004. he had vocal cord surgery and had to learn how to use his voice properly. the sound of his scream is not much different sounding but the way that he does it is.
