I believe a DA can also have narcissistic tendencies as well.

I definitely don’t doubt that there can be overlap

    Fearful avoidant is attachment style
    Narcissism is personality disorder
A fearful avoidant can be narcissistic

I've gotten to the point that I don't care what the label is. What impact are they having on my life? Thats the answer I need.

After finding out he has been breadcrumbing and hoovering me all the lines have been blurred to infinity. As a fearful avoidant, my instincts weren’t wrong. All of this is not in our heads

My DA ex contacted my Narcissistic mother. She read my journal... told him very personal stuff. I found out she got involved when I told her to NEVER do it again... & she did. My whole family thinks I made this up... as if I'm known to be a liar?!... im not. They went to lunch. I feel so betrayed & now my ex is gaslighting even my very reliable friend who he actually called last month to tell her what my mom has been up to. It's become a nightmare. I was hoping he would have had my back... its so weird it's scary

I remember a covert narcissist I used to date would gaslight me a lot. At the beginning of the relationship he would ask me what is your mind besides me? I thought it was just something fun and got hooked, he would ask same thing a couple times. And when I asked him the same, he said: "Nothing" and I said "Ohh ok..." and kept using his phone and laughing. When I asked if there is something he didn't like on me, he said I can be intrusive and told me that I asked him what was in his mind, he said "It's none of your business", and YOU said "Oh really?". I was about to apologize him, because I was so confused about the sudden change on his behavior, he then said "When you see someone like that, leave them alone, give them space".
I was spiriling a lot, and said "Ok, can you please let me know when you need space?" and he "I don't need to tell you when I need space, people know when I need it"
It was the worst relationship I've ever been to.

I don’t think narcissists are always driven by grandiosity, that’s part of the false ego they create because they are so insecure and disconnected from deep emotional experiences.

Not so fantastic when you play with others emotions because you're cowards. Stay alone. The world is better off that way.
