I myself have yet to release these repressed emotions of mine, as they are there from childhood trauma and suppressed memories. The instruments used provide a rather vague image of misery, confusion, lifeless faces, and dying places. It seems to be a song about leaving life behind; or at least the past life of pain, unwarranted emotions, and confusion into a more understanding life. I imagine it would feel much longer than the previous, like the transition of teenagehood to adulthood. Any thoughts?

I was playing this while working on my video, and it was on high volume. My 7 year old sister said "You like sad songs?" and I said "Well, yeah, I mean, they make me think about life and the things I regret and what might lurk in the universe". I turned around and in a few seconds I heard sniffles. I looked back and saw my little sis crying. I asked her why she was crying and she said "I'm crying for myself."

i am mind blown rn, i was just telling someone that i believe there is more to music then the meaning of the words, more, even beyond the poetic meaning hidden in the words, but that there is meaning in the music itself, idk exactly how to describe it, but i love songs like this because they have no words yet they give a very clear message, i was telling my friend that this song gives me a sense of clarity, it helps me to numb myself entirely to emotions, and it really does, it helps me think more clearly and learn better when i listen to this song, but here is where my mind is blown, right after i said all this to my friend i looked up the meaning of catharsis, and it says the purification and purgation of emotions, or intellectual clarity. the exact things that this song portrays. i believe that aether is an amazing artist. he knew it would portray this meaning, he knew exactly what sounds to put together to make a feeling of catharsis. i am astonished by this, idk. not many artists can do this... idk, its just fricken weird u kno...

Mmmmm yes. Aether is unparalleled, definitely held in such high regard with me. Elysia's Heart and If You Had are my two favorites from him. Of course his work with Pensees is also godlike. Also Racoon City with Sizzlebird is incredible.

I myself have yet to release these repressed emotions of mine, as they are there from childhood trauma and suppressed memories. The instruments used provide a rather vague image of misery, confusion, lifeless faces, and dying places. It seems to be a song about leaving life behind; or at least the past life of pain, unwarranted emotions, and confusion into a more understanding life. I imagine it would feel much longer than the previous, like the transition of teenagehood to adulthood. Any thoughts?
