  • This ride has all the ingredients you can expect from a ride in Provence. You start off in charming Bédoin. From here you move through villages, vineyards, olive groves, and fruit plantations. Occasionally you will have a glimpse of Mount Ventoux. You mainly ride on rough back roads. As you get to Villes-Sur-Auzon you start your climb to Gorges de la Nesque. From here the road is much better. It is a very easy climb that takes you up to ‘gorgeous’ views of the gorge. You often ride along the edge which makes the views even better. As you get to the last lookout, you have a very nice descent to Monieux. From Monieux you take a narrow back road up to Col de la Liguière. The gradients of the climb change a lot. It is mostly easy, but it has occasional small segments with double-digit gradients. Col de la Liguière was used by the Tour de France in 2021.

    Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute RUclips and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, RUclips, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride... We have left the original sound of the ride out. This is because the noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider's breathing drowns the natural sound of the surroundings.

Love this ride, one of my favorites in all of France (and that is saying something). Thanks for the memories, the views are amazing on this ride and the gradient is mellow.

Couldn't help but notice the hundreds of manicured shrubs on the roadside, je t'aime!
