I like Elijah Godwin a lot and he's black but I don't think he'd be a good decathlete, not because he's black, but because he's more of a specialist. I admire him for having experienced the wrong end of the javelin in 2019, getting a punctured lung, and still winding up an Olympic Gold Medal winner and the NCAA 400m champ in 2023 when he didn't even make the finals last year.
Boling is good at a lot of events but not world class in any of them. That's where the Decathlon comes in because it is for the all around athlete, not the specialist.
Lindsey or orogot 20.05
@brettennals4362 Lindsey ain't got what Orogot and Orogot got second.
That’s why I didn’t get the point of hyping Boling up
Who hyped him up? I don't get why people keep saying anyone is hyping him up. All I see and hear is hate. The last video wasn't a hype for Boling. Boling should be the favorite, he's won the event twice
@@chuckdeuces911 They have a preconceived notion that a light 'skinted' dude can't be that fast plus they don't bother to look into the dude's past.
Boling needs to be more relax.
Oh thanks, maybe someone will get this message to him and the other 40 people saying the same thing too. I'm sure his coach of him don't know that.
@@chuckdeuces911 All it will take is for all of his fans to yell at him during the race RELAX!!!!!!!!!!! RELAX!!!!!!!!!! RELAX!!!!!!!!!!!! ETC.
@@chuckdeuces911 Looks like he did just that in the 200.
April 29, Matthew Boling, 19.71
@Freedom N. , Liberty They didn't though...lol
@Freedom N. , Liberty Thought I was joking? 😂
Wow they must have got a real powerful batch of the EPO this year!!!!
@7777777fletcha Thanks for your analysis. Get it - urinalysis.
You say Boling is consistent, I say he's not really improving considering he's in college. At this rate Boling won't even make an Olympic team much less be one of the world's best.
This aged poorly but all hate usually does. Bro, why do you and so many others stay in Boling's mentions? Just say what you want to say but anyways this aged poorly in 2 days.
I'm also amazed , Boling still has won anything more than a school sports race
What does this mean? He's a 4 time NCAA champion. He's won the 200 indoor 2 or 3 times now. Do you know what you're talking about?
Embarassing
Making team usa, is the equivalent of making the Olympic finals. Boling can't beat an increasing number of 19/20 yr old college kids, but he's supposedly gonna beat Kerley, Coleman, Liles, Knighton, Bednarek, Bromell, Norman and Bracey for a spot on team USA???
Dude was ranked in top 2 NCAA sprinters, years ago.. Gotten worse, and now dropped to number 5. EVERYONE's gotten faster.. except for him
@Crossroadsclass You deserve a lot of credit for being outspoken and having the courage of your convictions. Plus I think you are right that he could not beat Kerley, Coleman, Lyles, Knighton, Bednarek, Bromell, Norman, Bracey, Jacobs, Omanyala and many other pros.
But on the other hand, he has gotten faster after all as he lowered his PB to 20.12 indoors as of March 11, 2023.
Bahahahahahaha!!!!!
Yep, your comments are embarrassing.
I don't think Bolling has any chance at all. Really, we're talking about someone with a season PB of 20.42 being a contender?
20.12 now, quick delete this comment
What's his career best before this though? How many events has he ran this year? 2 or 3?
@@chuckdeuces911 He won the NCAA Indoor 200m in 2021 with a time of 20:19 which is not that far off what he did in 2023. Indoor 200 m 20.19 - Fayetteville, Arkansas, U.S. March 13, 2021 #6 all-time (Wikipedia)
It was moved down to #8 after the two African runners beat his time on Friday with 2:17 each but he regained the #6 spot with his 2:12 on Saturday March 11, 2023.
How is Mathew getting slower all that training somehtjng seems wrong
He's not
@@chuckdeuces911 He who laughs last, laughs best. 😂
So tired of you and MB...Hella bias..he is a no one...crazy how you keep trying to slide him in there...he isnt the standard.. Can't wait till the end of this season where all this MB crap goes away
I don't even like Boling that much but to say he is a no one is most definitely unfair. He is in contention. Do I think he'll win? - no, but he will probably be in the final for the third year in a row. He definitely focuses on him a lot but he's also been a big draw and story in the past few years.
@@lennoncampbell3105 only because channels like this hype him up...where im from track is a 1st place sport...no one remembers #2...MB is #5 and #6 and gets a video ...its madness...he is a nobody cause he can't compete with top USA sprinters...no pro card....College is for fun..he is just a relay runner
@Taybaby2000 So tired of all you whiners who don't want him mentioned despite his past history. He has won the NCAA's and been second. His 20.13 last year is as fast as this year's favorite's best time. Hella bias on your part. You will be disappointed to know he did pretty well outdoors last year too: SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championship he won the 200m with the time of 20.06.
NCAA Division 1 Outdoor Track and Field Championship he placed 2nd at the 200m in a time of 20.01.
Boling was a great collegiate athlete. However, only top 3 make the US team. There are at least 8 US pro men running consistently under 19.8.
I thought after Fahnbulleh and Laird turned pro, this would be Boling's year to dominate. Then, about 4 more guys dropped PRs.
@Freedom N. , Liberty Trash videos like this Bring too much attention to the wrong People.... This video started with that b*******
boling is toast. bad coaching
Maybe that’s as good as it gets? He’s been coached by two top tier coaches
@@Brave-828 I guess Boling's wrong because he credits his coach for her advice and helping him regain his indoor 200m title he won in 2021 and again this year.
Every time I see Boling run his form looks worse.
Make video of 60m race in Jamaica
Wow are those 200 times SLOW!!! Boling again is running way too many events.
Nice
