Few days ago I had my 2nd piano lesson, and were practicing still dre as I like hip hop and it is quite a good track to learn. But I want to go back to a lesson with a little something I've at least gave a go. Problem is many piano/keyboard players on RUclips go at their own pace and it's very hard to keep up and I'm constantly rewinding or slowing the vid down. All in all as a complete beginner I find trying to learn a track I think might be easy is causing me stress. After watching this vid has given me a bit of confidence, your patience and set up are comforting and I'm really excited to follow your instructions carefully. So just a quick thank you really and I'm now subbed.
Whoa! No idea what happened there and sorry we didn't catch it before uploading. We've stabilized the footage as best we can and replaced this part on our website if you'd rather see it without the warping. hdpiano.com/lesson/tubular-bells-by-mike-oldfield/
Are you missing some notes? - the riff is not complete - that E right hand should be pulsing throughout - relentless - and there's a subtle change at the second half of the riff which resolves to start it over again. Close but no cigar! LOL! First pass, 8 beats, second pass 7 beats ....
Oh no! Good catch. Super easy fix though- after the RH plays G-A it needs to rock the thumb immediately back to E. This will keep a constant flow going nicely. Sorry for the one-note miscue!
There should be a note every 8th beat. The rests you have here are all supposed to be filled with E notes: E A E B E G A E C E D E B C E A E B E G A E C E D E B C E B

That's awesome, Joe - thanks for learning with us! Welcome :)
Ecellent. I know the right hand but always made up my own left hand. I just used an E and C chord for the left hand. Thank you for the clarity!
You bet!
Tough for first timers like me but boy oh boy. Piano is gonna be in my family forever. Love it
I'm going to be learning piano and I love how patient and slowly you teach this. Subscribed.

Nice piece, old time favourite. 0:30 But - what's with the focus on the right and left of the keyboard, looks like it's under massive heat waves...

Hmm, this is our interpretation since it's not a piano piece.
@@HDpiano but this intro riff is played on piano?

Ooh!
Yeah I got taught this in my music lessons at school and instantly thought "yep. This is L's theme" and started fangirling
Please redo with ALL the E notes. How could you get it so wrong?

Wrong. Amazing how you get such a simple thing wrong? Clearly too young to have it ingrained? Oldfield would cringe.
Sorry for the missing E's; perhaps we'll be able to update soon!
you are straight up missing notes.... how is that even possible?
I play piano good
You play it well!

HDpiano after every riff for the right hand theres supposed to be another C note that is hit before restarting the next riff.
