My self and my wife were on the same cruise in june 2019, we did 2 weeks, we picked the cruise for 2 reasons, the itinerary Italy/ Croatia and the ship explorer 2, which was meralla newest ship. We have done one other cruise (out first cruise) on the meralla discovery in 2017. We like the meralla ships all inclusive and we must say, we will be picking the explorer 2 next time, we particularly like the Broadway shows, movie night with fish and chips, ( I know how British) the last Broadway show linked onto the late bar- indigo. the discovery was good and both ships are similar overall, but we prefer the explorer 2 and it also being adults only. if you wanted music and noise in the daytime, there was plenty, but you could also find quieter areas on the ship. When I talk with friends who haven't cruise before, my overriding selling point is you wake ing up somewhere different every morning and all the different places - brilliant.
Exactly why my other half loves cruises because it's something different everyday! I've been lucky enough to go on several lines i was skeptical about TUI but was pleasantly surprised. good to know about the discovery will definitely look at going on another TUI cruise in future! Thanks for the comment Glyn!
Naples Airport, agree it’s a nightmare!! Bit confused about your restaurant experience though, we’ve travelled with TUI/Marella cruising for ten years or so and have been more than happy with the size and quality of their meals. My husband is diabetic and there has always been something for him. I do hope it was a one-off experience for you, it’s a shame when this happens. I enjoyed the vlog though we have done Adriatic Affair on Discovery - a wonderful cruise
nice vid , going on explorer 2 next week for a cruise around the greek islands hope to god the airport was a one off thing , a little surprised about the food issue had no problems with portion sizes last year on discovery 2, we hardly ate in the buffet .
Have a great time I'd love to go to Greece. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Let me know what you think on the food front. Obviously it's difficult for me to judge it on anything but the food which fit in with my dietary requirements. The Italian 'Vista' restaurant is very good we wish we'd have found it earlier!
yes the airport was a nightmare on landing but was fine on departure tui have there own desk which really helps. food could have been warmer in the buffet restaurant but was ok really enjoyed vista and both premium restaurants. @@ChronicallyJenni
Can you remember who you booked your Game of Thrones Tour with please? I've done the GOT Walking Tour in Dubrovnik but you seemed to be on a bus? Interested.
Really enjoyed the shots of Dubrovnik. I hadn’t realised that it was used for scenes from Kings Landing. When you showed that bell tower it brought a tear to my eye thinking about the last episode. I really fancy a cruise but one that leaves from the uk. I use an electric wheelchair these days, do you think a cruise would be suitable? Xx
Such a beautiful place! I haven't done a fly cruise since I was a kid and I definitely wouldn't go for just a week-long fly cruise again in a hurry it was just too much. If you haven't seen this vlog from 2 years ago ruclips.net/video/TBefmwq5CfA/видео.html have a watch. I was much more wheelchair reliant then so you might find it useful. Pros of cruising with a wheelchair is there's lifts everywhere and everywhere is wide enough (apart from normal cabins but that's fine because you'll get an accessible one). Cons tend to be when you're getting off. I didn't take my walker out on this cruise because a lot of the places where cobbley and it was going to hurt more than help. Tender ports are impossible with a electric wheelchair but you can choose lots of cruises that dont have tender ports like this one didn't. Sometimes as you'll see in the old vlog I think gangplanks to get off can be very steep because of tides so you might have to think more about when you get on and off. So there is a lot to think about (as always) but I think cruising is a really good option. Feel free to message me if you are ever looking at booking one you know I'm happy to give all the advice I can :P x
Hi remember that "Vedi Napoli e Muori" (See Naples and Die)!... means that Naples & Capri r so beautiful (that's true) one must visit them before u die; it is however the "Wild West" of Italy run by bandits - nobody bides by the rules
Thank you Scott. I'm sorry you thought I was complaining, I was aiming to convey the problems in the moment so it would be helpful for my followers who also have chronic illnesses similar to my own to decide if this kind of holiday would be something they'd enjoy without too much difficulty. Spoons & Love x
@@Patonator100 - yeah let's face it lots of us watch videos cos they depict people who r worse of than us.... it's just human nature - otherwise why r there so many vlogs about chronic illnesses? Not that we want Jenni to suffer in fact I think she's THE best!

I'm pretty sure it was through TUI but it was a walking tour they just took us on a bus from the port to the centre of town. x

not a bad vid, but I think it was more about you and your complaining.
