I refuse to wait in line to get into any store. It's such a waste of time, especially when traveling. I've bought some luxury bags before, but I've become interested in *hotdups* and some other affordable brands. I'd be sad if I didn't have a *hotdups* bag.

It's great that you sold those bags to buy the Birkin! It's beautuful, love the color. If you're not using certain bags, sell them to create space & leave room for something new. I do the same thing and it really works! Enjoy! 💙

This was an interesting one! Loved that raspberry Loewe puzzle bag and the red rivet Lady Dior was an edgy stunner. But it makes sense to let them move on especially if they're just eye candy and not very useful.

I agree and I thought about it, but I have some reasons I need to keep prices in messages.
At the end of the video you said you were hoping to make your collection more manageable and get more use out of the bags you have. I am currently going through a closet purge, and creating my “best of” collection with the things I own.
I’ve already done this with clothes…. Yesterday I did it to my SLG pouches, wallets….and bags are next. It feels like a weight off my shoulders to not have SO MUCH stuff that I can’t possibly use it all. And can’t find the things I LOVE in the pile of things I wanted at one point or another. It also feels good to give myself the grace of “I love the way that looks, but if I’m honest I don’t like carrying it (wearing it, using it) because….. “ and then pass the item on to someone who will appreciate it more.
Limiting my closet to my “greatest hits” collection from top to bottom means every day I wear and use things that bring me joy…. It’s also helping to give me clarity in limiting my shopaholic tendencies, to know I have enough. ❤

Your Birkin is beautiful Eva. I love how you bought it at FP and fund it through the credits. Very clever. I also love the bags in the background. The exposed brick makes it warm, and homey. Same color as our fireplace when I live in the Midwest. You have a good mix of contemporary and luxury bags. Thank you for this video.

Such a smart thing to do. Awesome bags, but you can flip them after you’ve enjoyed them to get something you really want, and especially the holy grail bag! I’ve sold to rebuy my vintage Murakami collection and I’m only one handbag and key pouch away from my goal. 💝

It's so good that you know that before you spend the big bucks on it!! I felt like I knew that was going to be a possibility from watching reviews before I bought it but I just could not help myself. I enjoyed it for a while, but glad to move it on.

I don't have enough to sell, I have about 8 designer bags and I love them all.
But the plan is not to add as I'm saving for my fashionphile B30 purchase as well.
That's a great plan. I think 8-10 is a great number. If I were to start over that's what I would try to aim for.
Good strategy and advice. I'm waiting until the market recovers a bit before selling under-used bags.

Cool to hear why you let these bags go. Over what amount of time did you sell to them? Like was it months of selling or all at once? I too find my mini puzzle to be just a bit too small. Something about it is just off and I’m a HUGE puzzle bag lover. I have 1 mini and use maybe 2x per year. Maybe I should sell it. 🤔
Good question-I sold these over several months. I agree the idea of the mini puzzle is great, but it's not great to use. I didn't get a very good price from them on my mini puzzle, but to be honest it was one of the last bags I sold and I had selling fatigue at that point. I could have waited to resubmit for another offer, but I wanted to make my purchase so I just went with it.

I'm surprised about your monster baguette but I get it. The popularity of the Lady Dior puzzles me. IMO it's not an attractive bag, especially in that the handles look clunky.🤷I think your Birkin was worth letting these bags go.❤🌻
